Kristina Inhof (born 1 October 1988) is an Austrian television presenter and sports journalist at ORF.
Inhof was born in Vienna [1] and grew up in Lower Austria. During her school years she played handball for several years at Hypo Niederösterreich. [1] In 2008 she completed her school leaving exam at the Vienna Business School. Shortly thereafter, she began her studies in sports science [2] with a focus on sport management at the University of Vienna. During this time, she also lived for six months in Gran Canaria, where she completed a semester abroad at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). Already during her studies she completed various internships at media companies such as Radio 88.6, Kronen Zeitung or Austria 9. In October 2012 Inhof completed her studies with a bachelor's degree. She is also a graduate of the WIFI Media Academy.
In 2009, Inhof was in front of a camera for the first time. She spent almost two years as a reporter at Vienna Online, and then moved to W24 , [2] [3] [4] [5] where she first presented Guten Morgen Wien and from 2012 onward was the face of the daily live show Guten Abend Wien. In addition to her work at W24, in 2012 she was hired by the Austrian TV broadcaster Puls 4 [5] for the broadcast of the UEFA Champions League. [2] [6] This moderated them together with Christian Nehiba and Frank Schinkels. [7]
At W24, Inhof also took over the format Immobilien für Wien, the main evening show Best of and the moderation of the programme presentations of the station.
For several months in 2015, she joined the moderator team of Sky Sport News HD [2] [4] [6] and presented the sports news several times a week. At the same time, Inhof moderated together with Andi Knoll on Die große Chance der Chöre in ORF eins. [1] [4] [5] [8]
In 2016, Inhof worked exclusively for the ORF, where she presented the football department, [1] [5] which includes programmes from the Champions League, Bundesliga, Austrian Football First League, Austrian Cup and summaries of games of the Austria national football team. She was also part of the ORF team at the UEFA Euro 2016 in France. In addition, she presented again in 2016 with Andi Knoll on Die große Chance der Chöre. In addition to her TV appearances, Inhof is active as an event presenter. In 2013 and 2014, she hosted the final of the EHF Champions League in the Lanxess Arena. Apart from the sporting area, she also leads through galas and corporate events.
Inhof lives in Lower Austria.
She is in a relationship with Georg Lauscha (born 1987). In April 2024 they became parents to a daughter.
Inhof is a fan of the London football club Arsenal F.C. [1] and has been to the Emirates Stadium several times.
She speaks German as well as English and Spanish fluently.
Austria has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 56 times since its debut in 1957. The country has won twice, in 1966 and 2014, and such it holds the record for the longest gap between consecutive wins — 48 years. The contest is broadcast in Austria by ORF. Vienna was the host city on both of the occasions that the contest was held in Austria, in 1967 and 2015.

Ten songs competed in a televised show where a public vote exclusively selected "Du bist" performed by Tie Break as the winner.
Austria participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 with the song "Reflection" written by Dave Moskin. The song was performed by Bobbie Singer. The Austrian broadcaster Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF) returned to the Eurovision Song Contest after a one-year absence following their relegation from 1998 as one of the six countries with the least total average points over the preceding five contests. On 12 February 1999, ORF announced that they had internally selected Bobbie Singer to compete at the 1999 contest in Jerusalem, Israel, while "Reflection" was presented to the public on 25 February 1999 during the ORF programme Vera.

The Austrian State Prize for European Literature, also known in Austria as the European Literary Award, is an Austrian literary prize awarded by the Federal Chancellery for Arts, Culture, and Media to European writers. Established in 1965, the prize is endowed with a purse of 25,000 €. The prize was not awarded in 1969. It is awarded on the Salzburg Festival.

The Austrian broadcaster Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF) organised the national final Österreich rockt den Song Contest in order to select the Austrian entry for the 2012 contest in Baku, Azerbaijan. Ten songs competed in a televised show where a public vote first selected the top two entries to proceed to a second round of voting. In the second round, "Woki mit deim Popo" was selected as the winner after gaining 51% of the votes from a public vote. This was the first time that the Austrian song was performed entirely in the Mühlviertlerisch dialect at the Eurovision Song Contest.

The Austrian broadcaster Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF) organised the national final Wer singt für Österreich? in order to select the Austrian entry for the 2016 contest in Stockholm, Sweden. Ten songs competed in a televised show where a jury panel and a public vote first selected the top two entries to proceed to a second round of voting. In the second round, a public vote exclusively selected "Loin d'ici" performed by Zoë as the winner. This was the first time that the Austrian song was performed entirely in the French language at the Eurovision Song Contest. The Austrian song was also the only entry performed in the final entirely in a language other than English.
Presidential elections were held in Austria on 24 April 2016, with a second round run-off on 22 May 2016. However, the results of the second round were annulled and a re-vote took place on 4 December 2016.

Juliane Bogner-Strauß, is an Austrian molecular biologist, biochemist, and politician in the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). Since October 2013 she is Associate Professor at the Institute of Biochemistry of Graz University of Technology. From 18 December 2017 she was Federal Minister for Families and Youth of the Republic of Austria, since 8 January 2018 she is Federal Minister for Women, Families and Youth in the Federal Chancellery. Since 9 July 2018, she is the Federal Minister for Sustainability and Tourism.
Eignblunzn is a 2003 performance by Austrian art theory group monochrom and is considered an important work in the group's history and Austrian art history in the 2000s. The group's members Johannes Grenzfurthner, Evelyn Fürlinger and Harald Homolka-List staged a classic Austrian Heuriger in a room at Museumsquartier Vienna, and consumed Austrian-style blood sausage made out of their own blood. Volunteers were invited to take part. German author Johannes Ullmaier and Austrian journalist Gerlinde Lang of radio station FM4 joined the procedure and reported about it. The performance was accompanied by political essays about the 'auto-cannibalistic' tendencies of the global economy. The event also can be interpreted as a critical statement about art, art history, the art market, and martialism in performance art.
Der kleine Song Contest was a one-off music competition in the Eurovision format, organised and broadcast by the Austrian broadcaster Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF). It served as an alternative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, which was planned to be held in Rotterdam, Netherlands, but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
