Brian Baker is an American punk rock musician. He is best known as one of the founding members of the hardcore punk band Minor Threat, and as a guitarist in Bad Religion since 1994. In Minor Threat, he originally played bass guitar before switching to guitar in 1982 when Steve Hansgen joined the band, and then moved back to bass after Hansgen's departure. He also founded Dag Nasty in 1985, was part of the original line-up of Samhain, and has had stints in Doggy Style, The Meatmen, Government Issue, and Junkyard.
Refused is a Swedish hardcore punk band originating from Umeå and formed in 1991. Refused is composed of vocalist Dennis Lyxzén, guitarist Kristofer Steen, drummer David Sandström, and bassist Magnus Flagge. Guitarist Jon Brännström was a member from 1994, through reunions, until he was fired in late-2014. Their lyrics are often of a non-conformist and politically far-left nature and were for a time associated with the straight edge subculture.

It was released in 1996 through Victory Records, Startrec and We Bite on CD, tape and 12" vinyl; and reissued by Burning Heart Records and Victory in 1997. A remastered version of the album was released in 2004.
The E.P. Compilation is a compilation album by Swedish band Refused, originally released in 1997. The album, which consists of songs from Refused's EPs, was reissued in 1999 as This Album Contains Old Songs & Old Pictures, Vol. 1. A different edition was released in 2002 and reissued in 2004.

TEXT is a Swedish band founded by Kristofer Steen, David Sandström, Fredrik Bäckström and Jon F Brännström. All, except Bäckström, were ex-members of hardcore band Refused. Stylistically, they have little in common with Refused. Their debut album, Text, is a mix of spoken word, music of various styles, and ambient sound effects, often producing an ethereal, avant-garde sound. Apart from the three "Tableau" tracks, each track could be described as fitting into a different genre. In 2008, a second album, Vital Signs, was released. Yet again the style of music is far from Refused and the first Text album. Only Fredrik Bäckström and Jon F Brännström appear on this album.

The Reunion Tour is a concert tour by Swedish post-hardcore band Refused, celebrating the band's reunion, after breaking-up in 1998. The tour began with a secret warm-up shows in the band's hometown of Umeå on 29 February 2012, as well as another small show in Stockholm, on 30 March, after which the band headed to start the official tour, in the United States.
Abhinanda is a Swedish hardcore punk band that was active from 1992 until 1999, releasing three albums. The band was part of the Umeå hardcore scene and had close ties to influential hardcore band Refused, which members formed the supergroup Final Exit, which released two albums. All members of the group were straight edge and either vegan or vegetarian.
