The Demo Compilation is the second compilation of old songs by Swedish hardcore punk band Refused. It was released in 1997 through Burning Heart Records. It is also known as This Album Contains Old Songs & Old Pictures Vol. 2.
Tracks 1–15 collect the EPs First Demo: Refused (1992, self-released) and Second Demo: Operation Headfirst (1992, Umeå Hardcore Records). Tracks 16–21 are bonus songs.

Punk-O-Rama was the title given to a series of ten compilation albums published by Epitaph Records. The first volume was released in 1994, the second in 1996, and the rest annually from 1998 to 2005. The albums included artists from Epitaph's roster as well as from its subsidiary label ANTI- and its partnership labels Hellcat Records and Burning Heart Records. In total the series included 257 songs contributed by 88 different artists.
Out in L.A. is a compilation of rare tracks by the Red Hot Chili Peppers released November 1, 1994, on EMI. Interpreted by music critics as an attempt by EMI to capitalize on the group's newfound success with Warner Bros., it collects remixes, demo recordings, live covers and outtakes. On release, Out in L.A. received negative reviews from music critics.

The Fartz were a hardcore punk band that was founded in 1981 and were one of the first well-known bands in their genre from Seattle, Washington. They were signed to Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles Record label. They were notable not only for playing incredibly fast and heavy music, but also for their politically and socially conscious song lyrics that criticized government policies, religious hypocrisy, racism, sexism, and poverty. Throughout their musical career they championed a blue collar, working class perspective on life.
Negative Approach is an American hardcore punk band, formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1981. The band is considered among the pioneers of hardcore punk, particularly in the Midwest region. Like most hardcore bands, Negative Approach was little known in its day outside of its hometown. It is now idolized in the Detroit rock underground and the punk subculture, considered to be one of the elite bands of the "old school" era, and continues to be influential. Negative Approach initially broke up in 1984 with singer John Brannon moving on to the Laughing Hyenas, and later Easy Action, but the band has reformed as of 2006 and continues to tour sporadically.
10 Years of Abuse (and Still Broke) is sludge metal band Eyehategod's only live album, released on May 29, 2001. Although not all the tracks are live, it is still considered a live album, as the majority of tracks are live, and there are no studio tracks (the rest consist of demos and radio performances).
A Comprehensive Retrospective Or: How We Learned to Stop Worrying and Release Bad and Useless Recordings is a compilation album by hardcore punk band Shai Hulud. It is a collection of live recordings and early demos and was co-released via the band's own record label, At Dawn We Wage War Records, in collaboration with Revelation Records, on January 25, 2005. The title is a play on the film Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.

Sheer Terror are an American hardcore punk band from New York City. The band was one of the first to combine elements of heavy metal with a hardcore punk base, pioneering a heavier style of hardcore that would create many bands in the following decades. Formed in late 1984, the band stayed together until 1998, through numerous lineup changes and shifts in musical style. In October 2004, the band reunited for two shows at New York City's CBGB Club.

Work on their third full-length album was completed in March 2009.
No Grounds For Pity is a compilation album of early demo material by the New York hardcore band, Sheer Terror. The tracks were recorded between 1985 and 1988 and released in Europe on Blackout Records in 1996 – a year after the band made their first major label release, Love Songs For the Unloved, on MCA Records.

3 Fists and a Mouthful is the third studio album by the American hardcore punk band Hogan's Heroes. It was released in January 1992 on advanced promo copies. Produced by George Barberio, and recorded at Ocean Gate Studios the album showcased the band's full use of hardcore, rock, full-band backing vocals, while fusing elements of punk, thrash and metal. The album was partially re-released in 1995 in a Revolver/Rotz/Smash/Dutch East distributed, remastered version.
