The Kuala Linggi Bridge (Malay : Jambatan Kuala Linggi) is a bridge border of Negeri Sembilan and Malacca crossing Linggi River, Malaysia. The bridge is located near Dutch Fort in Melaka side. It was officially opened on 10th July 1990 by fourth Malaysian Prime Minister, Mahathir Mohamad.[ citation needed ]

Federal Route 138 is a federal road in Malacca, Malaysia, connecting Masjid Tanah and Kuala Linggi. It was originally known as Jalan Kuala Sungai Baru-Sungai Udang and Jalan Lubuk Redan-Masjid Tanah. Federal Route FT 138 features Sungai Linggi Bridge and was built to provide a shorter, less-winding alternative to Federal Route 5 for journeys from Malacca City to Port Dickson. Kilometre Zero of Federal Route 138 is at Kampung Jeram near Masjid Tanah.

It is among the largest designated ship-to-ship cargo transfer area in Malaysia. The name "Kuala Linggi" was named after the name of the nearby river, Linggi River. Linggi means 'stem' in Buginese and refers to the strongest vertical plate at the bow of a ship.
