Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC), formerly known as Tournament Players Club or TPC Kuala Lumpur, is a golf club located in Mont Kiara. Many of its facilities are open to visitors, including the golf course, driving range, all six F&B venues, bowling centre, Let's Get Fit workout classes, proshop and golf academy.

The club became part of the TPC network of golf courses on 24 August 2016. The inauguration was graced by Her Majesty, Tuanku Hajah Haminah Hamidun and accompanied by the then Deputy Commissioner of PGA TOUR, Jay Monahan.

The club adheres to the standards set by the PGA TOUR, LPGA and TPC Network of golf clubs.

Golf Courses

Originally opened in 1991, TPC Kuala Lumpur's two 18-hole championship golf courses, the Par 71 East and Par 72 West Courses had since undergone a total redesign. The revamped West Course reopened in 2009 and the East Course in 2010. TPC Kuala Lumpur's West Course completed another upgrade in August 2018. By end of 2018, seven Malaysian Opens and five CIMB Classic tournaments were held on TPC Kuala Lumpur's West Course.

International tournaments

TPC Kuala Lumpur has hosted several international championships, including the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia on its East Course, and the CIMB Classic and Maybank Malaysian Open on the West Course. TPC Kuala Lumpur also played host for two women's international tennis tournaments: the 2016 BMW Malaysian Open and the 2017 ALYA WTA Malaysian Open.

Awards and recognition

In addition, KLGCC has won numerous awards at the Asian Golf Awards over the years including the highest honour in the forms of the Order of the Zenith and the Legion of Leaders awards.[ citation needed ]

Most of the courses either are or have been hosts for PGA Tour events, with the remainder having frequently hosted events on the Korn Ferry Tour or PGA Tour Champions. In 2020, Harding Park became the first TPC course to host a major when it hosted the PGA Championship.

The FedEx St. Jude Championship, founded as the Westchester Classic in 1967, is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour. Since 2007, it has been played as the first tournament of the playoff system for the FedEx Cup, with the field limited to the top 125 players on the FedEx Cup points list at the end of the regular season. For sponsorship reasons, the tournament has previously been titled as The Northern Trust, The Barclays, and the Buick Classic.

The Royal Selangor Golf Club is a golf course in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Established in 1893, it is one of the oldest golf clubs in Asia. The club is open only to members. Its entrance is located at the intersection of Jalan Raja Chulan and Jalan Tun Razak, the latter of which runs along the length of the club. It has two 18-hole championship courses, the Old Course and the New Course, and a 9-hole course.

TPC Deere Run is an 18-hole golf course in the central United States, located in Silvis, Illinois, along the Rock River. It is operated by the PGA Tour as a member of their Tournament Players Club network of golf courses and plays host to the annual John Deere Classic, part of the tour's regular season schedule. It is usually held in July, the week preceding The Open.

TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm is a private golf club in the eastern United States, located in Potomac, Maryland, a suburb northwest of Washington, D.C. Inverrary Country Club was a 36-hole private golf club located in Lauderhill, Florida, northwest of Fort Lauderdale. Founded 53 years ago in 1970, both 18-hole courses were designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. The course has been shutdown since 2020.

Pleasant Valley Country Club is a golf course and country club in the northeastern United States, located in Sutton, Massachusetts. The course is a 72 par that measures 7,020 yards (6,419 m).
