The Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia was a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour. It was played for the first time in October 2010 at the East Course at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The title sponsor was Sime Darby, Malaysia's leading multinational conglomerate involved in five core sectors: plantations, property, industrial, motors, and energy and utilities, with a growing presence in healthcare.
The debut tournament was a limited field event with 50 players invited from the official LPGA money list and an additional ten invited sponsor exemptions, including two ASEAN nations local qualifiers. A 54-hole event with no cut, all 60 players played for the entire tournament. [1] The purse was $1.8 million.
The event was increased to 72 holes in 2011, with a no-cut field of 72 players. The purse was increased to $1.9 million.

The U.S. Women's Open, one of 15 national golf championships conducted by the United States Golf Association (USGA), is the oldest of the LPGA Tour's five major championships, which includes the Chevron Championship, Women's PGA Championship, Women's Open Championship, and The Evian Championship.
The Evian Championship, currently known for sponsorship reasons as The Amundi Evian Championship, is a women's professional golf tournament in France, played at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains. It was originally held in June, moved to July in 2003, and moved again to September in 2013. It returned to a July date in 2019.
The LPGA Tour Championship, in full the LPGA Tour Championship Presented by Rolex, was the season-ending women's professional golf tournament on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. After two seasons it was discontinued, replaced by the CME Group Titleholders in 2011.
The Royal Selangor Golf Club is a golf course in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Established in 1893, it is one of the oldest golf clubs in Asia. The club is open only to members. Its entrance is located at the intersection of Jalan Raja Chulan and Jalan Tun Razak, the latter of which runs along the length of the club. It has two 18-hole championship courses, the Old Course and the New Course, and a 9-hole course.

The Portland Classic is a women's professional golf tournament in Oregon on the LPGA Tour. Founded 52 years ago in 1972, the annual event in the Portland area is the oldest continuous event on the LPGA Tour. Tournament Golf Foundation has owned the tournament since its beginning and also managed the Safeway International tournament on the LPGA Tour. It became a 72-hole event in 2013, after decades at 54 holes.
The Women's Australian Open is a women's professional golf tournament played in Australia, operated by Golf Australia and the WPGA Tour of Australasia, long co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). Beginning with the 2012 event, it is also co-sanctioned by the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. In 2008, it was the second-richest women's golf tournament on the ALPG Tour, with a prize fund of A$500,000, and was raised to A$600,000 in 2010. With the co-sanctioning by the LPGA, the total purse was nearly doubled, and was also fixed in U.S. dollars. The purse was US$1.1 million in 2012, and increased again to its current level of US$1.2 million for 2013. Since 2011, the tournament's name has been the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open.

It was played on the Garden Course of the Tanah Merah Country Club in eastern Singapore, adjacent to Singapore Changi Airport from 2008 to 2012. It is now played at the Sentosa Golf Club in Sentosa.
The Lorena Ochoa Invitational was a women's professional golf tournament in México on the LPGA Tour. Hosted by Lorena Ochoa, the event debuted in November 2008 at the course where she learned to play, Guadalajara Country Club in Guadalajara.
The Indy Women in Tech Championship was a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour, played in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The CIMB Classic was a professional golf tournament in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the PGA Tour. Played in the fall, the event debuted in 2010 and moved to the West Course of the TPC Kuala Lumpur in 2013; the first three editions were played at The Mines Resort & Golf Club in Mines Wellness City. The event was replaced in the 2019–20 PGA Tour season by the Zozo Championship in Japan.
The CME Group Tour Championship is a women's professional golf tournament, the season-ending event of the LPGA Tour. It succeeded the LPGA Tour Championship, which was played for two seasons in 2009 and 2010. From 2011 to 2013 the tournament was called the CME Group Titleholders. The tournament has a limited field of 60 players.
The Pure Silk Championship was a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour, played in Williamsburg, Virginia. The 72-hole tournament was held on the par-71 River Course at Kingsmill Resort, set at 6,340 yards (5,797 m) in 2013.
The Women's Victorian Open is an annual golf tournament held in Australia. It was founded in 1988 and played annually through 1992. After a 20-year hiatus it returned in 2012 as a tournament on the WPGA Tour of Australasia.
The Maybank Championship was a professional golf tournament, co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the European Tour, that was played annually in Malaysia. The tournament was founded in 2016 by sponsors Maybank, who had previously sponsored the Malaysian Open, with the inaugural tournament played from 18–21 February at Royal Selangor Golf Club in Kuala Lumpur. It had a purse of US$3,000,000.
The Diamond Resorts Invitational was a PGA Tour Champions Challenge Season event and celebrity golf tournament, played at Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons in Orlando, Florida, and benefited Florida Hospital for Children. The tournament began as a celebrity-only tournament in 2013 and in 2017, the tournament was made a PGA Tour Champions Challenge Season event. The 2018 event featured a field of 28 PGA Tour Champions and 4 LPGA Tour professionals, and 50 celebrity amateur golfers. The tournament was a no cut 54-hole event, and used the Modified Stableford scoring system. Over the years, the tournament helped raise more than $3.1 million for Florida Hospital for Children.
The Augusta National Women's Amateur (ANWA) is a golf tournament in Georgia, held at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta and Champions Retreat Golf Club in nearby Evans. The 54-hole stroke play event debuted in 2019.
The Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour that is played in Michigan. A new event in 2019, it is held at Midland Country Club in Midland, Michigan. It is a team event, similar to the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on the PGA Tour, with alternate shot (foursome) in the first and third rounds and better ball (fourball) for the second and fourth rounds. Dow Chemical Company is the title sponsor.
