Warren is a city in and the county seat of Trumbull County, Ohio, United States. Located in northeastern Ohio, Warren lies approximately 14 miles (23 km) northwest of Youngstown and 56 miles (90 km) southeast of Cleveland. The population was 39,201 at the 2020 census. The historical county seat of the Connecticut Western Reserve, it is the third largest municipality in the Youngstown–Warren metropolitan area after Youngstown and Boardman, and anchors the northern part of that area.

Low prices were advertised to bring in a large volume of sales with the slogans "Phar-Mor power buying gives you Phar-Mor buying power" and "Phar-Mor For Less." Another common slogan in their TV commercials was "Power buying saves: Save at Phar-Mor."

It became a 72-hole event in 2013, after decades at 54 holes.
The LPGA State Farm Classic was a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour. It was played annually from 1976 to 2011 in the Springfield, Illinois metropolitan area. From 1976 through 2006, the tournament was held at The Rail Golf Course. In 2007 it moved to Panther Creek Country Club.
The Toto Japan Classic is an annual women's professional golf tournament in Japan, jointly sanctioned by the two richest women's professional tours: the U.S.-based LPGA Tour and the LPGA of Japan Tour. It was an unofficial money event on the LPGA Tour from 1973 to 1975. It has taken place every year since 1973 at various locations, and is typically held in early November. From 2006 through 2015, the event has been played at Kintetsu Kashikojima Country Club in Shima, Mie. In 2016 and 2017, the events have been held at Minori Course of Taiheiyo Club in Omitama, Ibaraki, then changed back to the North Course of Seta Golf Course in Ōtsu, Shiga prefecture for 2018 events.
The PING/Welch's Championship was an annual golf tournament for professional female golfers on the LPGA Tour. Founded in 1980 as the Boston Five Classic, it took place every year in the Greater Boston area from 1980 through 1997. It was played at the Ferncroft Country Club in Danvers from 1980 to 1990 and at the Blue Hill Country Club in Canton from 1991 to 1997.
Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club is a championship golf club in the northwest United States, located in North Plains, Oregon, northwest of Portland. The award-winning 36-hole club opened 31 years ago in 1992 and has hosted several major golf tournaments, including the U.S. Women's Open in 1997 and 2003 and the Safeway Classic on the LPGA Tour from 2009 through 2012. In 2000, the tournament moved to the Legends Club of Tennessee in Franklin, Tennessee and changed its name to the Electrolux USA Championship. The tournament was hosted by singers Vince Gill and Amy Grant in its final three years.
The Phar-Mor at Inverrary was a women's professional golf tournament in Florida on the LPGA Tour, held from 1990 through 1992. The 54-hole event was played in February at the Inverrary Country Club in Lauderhill, northwest of Fort Lauderdale. It was sponsored by Phar-Mor, an Ohio-based chain of discount drug stores, which also sponsored the Phar-Mor in Youngstown.
The Rainbow Foods LPGA Classic was a golf tournament on the LPGA Tour from 1990 to 1998. It was played in the Minneapolis – Saint Paul, Minnesota area: at the Edinburgh USA Golf Course in Brooklyn Park from 1990 to 1996 and at the Rush Creek Golf Club in Maple Grove in 1997 and 1998.
Inverrary Country Club was a 36-hole private golf club located in Lauderhill, Florida, northwest of Fort Lauderdale. Founded 53 years ago in 1970, both 18-hole courses were designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. The course has been shutdown since 2020.
