The Kurashiki Ablaze is a Japanese professional women's volleyball team from Kurashiki, Okayama.
It is a volleyball club from Kurashiki City, Okayama, Japan founded in 2019. [1] Kurashiki Ablaze is operated by Ablaze Co., Ltd. that is located in Minamiune, Kurashiki, Okayama. [2]
Kurashiki won bronze medal in 13th National 6-Person Final League & Grand Champion Match Awards in Japan. [3]
They would join the Premier Volleyball League in the Philippines as one of the two foreign guest teams for the 2023 Invitational Conference. [4] [5] [6] They also beat the undefeated 6 year semi finals no loss place of Creamline Cool Smashers. [7] [8] Kurashiki won their first title in the PVL against the Creamline Cool Smashers in five-set match. [9] After the awards ceremony, Kurashiki helped to clean the PhilSports Arena that caught the attention of the Creamline Cool Smashers team manager Alan Acero. [10]
Sports Vision president Ricky Palou and the head coach of Kurashiki Ablaze Hideo Suzuki confirmed that Kurashiki Ablaze will return in 2024 to defend their PVL Invitation Conference crown. [11] [12]
The meaning of ABLAZE to the team refers to "passion", "excitement", and "burning". [13]

Off the court, the Kurashiki Ablaze Women's team is actively involved in community outreach programs and charity events. [16] In fact, Kurashiki visited Barangay 158 in Tondo, Manila, to hold an outreach program with the community residents. [10]
Michele Theresa Imperial Gumabao is a Filipino volleyball player and beauty pageant titleholder. She is currently signed to the Creamline Cool Smashers of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), and has previously played for teams in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). She was named "Best opposite spiker" five times in her professional career and was the Finals MVP in the 2016 Shakey's V-League Reinforced Conference.
Bernadeth Pons is a Filipina indoor and beach volleyball athlete. She is currently playing for the Creamline Cool Smashers at the Premier Volleyball League.
The Creamline Cool Smashers is a professional women's volleyball team playing in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by the Republic Biscuit Corporation and named after its Creamline Dairy brand.
Jessica Margarett "Jema" Casidsid Galanza is a Filipina volleyball player and former captain of the Adamson Soaring Lady Falcons volleyball team in the UAAP and a National Team Member. Diana Mae "Tots" Carlos is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was playing with UP Lady Fighting Maroons of the University of the Philippines-Diliman, and a member of both the indoor and beach volleyball collegiate varsity teams of the university. She bagged the back-to-back Most Valuable Player and Best Opposite Spiker in the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference and 2022 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference. She is also part of the Philippines women's national volleyball team that competes in the 2022 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup.
Rosemarie Vargas is a Filipino volleyball player of the collegiate varsity volleyball team of Far Eastern University that plays in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. Rosemarie also plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers in the Premier Volleyball League that debuted during the 2017 PVL Reinforced Conference.

Kyla Llana Magdaraog Atienza is a Filipina volleyball player. She currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers volleyball team in the Premier Volleyball League. She was a member of the FEU Lady Tamaraws volleyball team in both indoor and beach volleyball. She impressed in her debut for the Philippine team by keeping the ball alive for most of Vietnam's attacks at the AVC Cup on August 21, 2022. ASEAN Grand Prix named her Best Libero on September 11, 2022.

Celine Elaiza Domingo is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Nakhon Ratchasima QminC VC in the Thailand League. She was the team captain of the Philippines women's national under-23 volleyball team that competed in the 2019 Women's Volleyball Kor Royal Cup held in Thailand.
Sherwin Meneses is a Filipino volleyball coach. He is currently the head coach of the defending champion professional team, Creamline Cool Smashers, of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).
