Kurdus ibn Zuhayr al-Taghlibi was a companion of Ali ibn Abi Talib who was killed at the Battle of Karbala in 680 CE.
Kurdus ibn Zuhayr is referred to as Kurdus, son of the chief of Taghlib tribe. [1] He was a companion of Ali ibn Abi Talib who attended the battles of Jamal, Siffin, and Nahrawan along with him.
In the book, al-Mazar, by al-Shahid al-Awwal, [2] and Bihar al-anwar [3] he is mentioned as Kursh.
He was also a member of Hussain’s military force in Kufa. [4] Before Hussain's arrival in Karbala, he and his brothers, Qasit and Muqsit joined the Imam’s army. He was martyred on the Day of Ashura. It is said that he was martyred in the first attack of Umar ibn Sa'd's army. [4]
He is mentioned in Ziarat al-Shuhada: "peace be upon Qasit and Kurdus, the sons of Zuhayr al-Taghlibi". [5]

Abd Allah ibn Ja'far ibn Abi Talib al-Hashimi was a companion and relative of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, a nephew of Ali, a half-brother of Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr and grandfather of Abd Allah ibn Mu'awiya.

ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAqīl was one of Husayn ibn Ali's companions who was killed in the Battle of Karbala (680), where he is regarded as one of the martyrs. He was a son of Aqil ibn Abi Talib and both a nephew and a son-in-law of the fourth caliph and first Shi'ite Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib.
Muḥammad al-Aṣghar ibn ʿAlī is one of Ali's sons. There are different mentions about who his mother's name is, such as Layla bint Mas'ud, Umama bint Abi al-As, Warha' and Asma bint Umais. Although some sources have not mentioned about his attendance in Karbala, and are actually in doubt about that, there are many sources which consider him among the martyrs of Karbala; and his name is available as martyr in both Shia and Sunni sources.
Bishr ibn al-Ḥasan was a great-grandson of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. He was the son of second Shia Imam Hasan ibn Ali. He is considered to be one of the martyrs of the Battle of Karbala, although no record describes the circumstances surrounding his death by enemy forces.

Amir ibn Muslim al-Abdi was a companions of Hussain ibn Ali and was martyred in the Battle of Karbala. His name was included among those who were martyred in the first raid.
Muqsit b. Zuhayr al-Taghlibi was a companion of Hussain ibn Ali who was killed in the Battle of Karbala. He was also a companion of Imam Ali. According to some sources, he was martyred in the first attack of Umar ibn Sa'ad's army.
Shabib ibn Abd Allah al-Nahshali was killed in the Battle of Karbala.
Bashir ibn Amr al-Hadhrami al-Kindi was a companion of Husayn ibn Ali who was martyred at the Battle of Karbala.
ʿUmar ibn ʿAlī, was reportedly one of the children of Ali ibn Abi Talib who accompanied his brother, Husayn ibn Ali, to Karbala and was killed on the day of Ashura. It is said that except him, Ali had another son called Umar al-Akbar, whose mother was Umm Habib Al-Sahba and was not present in the event of Karbala.
Abis ibn Abi Shabib al-Shakiri was injured in the Battle of Siffin and martyrs of Karbala.
Abd al-Rahman ibn Abd Allah al-Arhabi was martyred in Karbala.
Amr ibn Abd Allah al-Junduʿi was among companion of Hussain ibn Ali who was martyred on the day of Ashura in the Battle of Karbala.
Jabala ibn Ali al-Shaybani was martyred at the Battle of Karbala.
Sa'd ibn Hanzala al-Tamimi was among prominent of Hussain ibn Ali's companion. He was martyred on the Day of Ashura in Battle of Karbala.
