Kurtis Goller (born March 7, 1997) is a Canadian curler from Calgary, Alberta. [2] He currently plays lead on Team Karsten Sturmay. [3]
In 2015, Goller represented Alberta at the 2015 Canada Winter Games, playing second for the Owen Goerzen rink. The team went 2–3 through the round robin before losing to Prince Edward Island in a tiebreaker, eliminating them from contention. [4]
Goller won the Alberta Junior Curling Championships in 2017 with his team of Colton Goller at skip, Tyler Lautner at third and Nicholas Rabl at lead. [5] This qualified the team to represent Alberta at the 2017 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, held January 21–29 in Esquimalt, British Columbia. After going 4–2 through the round robin, the team went 2–5 in the championship pool, finishing the event in seventh place. [6] After taking the next season off, Goller joined the Jeremy Harty rink at lead for the 2018–19 season. During their first season together, Team Harty won their first World Curling Tour event at the McKee Homes Fall Curling Classic. [7] At the 2019 Boston Pizza Cup, the team just missed qualifying for the playoffs, losing the C Qualifier game to Karsten Sturmay. [8] Team Harty did manage to beat eventual champions Team Kevin Koe in the second game of the tournament, however. [9]
The 2019–20 season was Team Harty's most successful season to date. [10] The team began their season with two straight wins at both the Avonair Cash Spiel and the McKee Homes Fall Curling Classic, defending their title from 2018. [11] They then won the Original 16 WCT Bonspiel in November 2019 and the College Clean Restoration Curling Classic in December 2019. [12] The team, however, could not carry this momentum into the provincial championship, as they finished with a 3–2 record at the 2020 Boston Pizza Cup, just outside of the playoffs once again. [13]
During the abbreviated 2020–21 season, Team Harty was able to play in four tour events. Their best finish came at the ATB Banff Classic where they won three straight games against Brendan Bottcher, Karsten Sturmay and Kevin Koe to claim the event title. [14] They also competed in the ATB Okotoks Classic where they lost in the semifinal to Team Bottcher, the McKee Homes Fall Curling Classic where they lost in the quarterfinals and the Ashley HomeStore Curling Classic where they failed to reach the playoffs. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Alberta, the 2021 provincial championship was cancelled. Because of this, Curling Alberta got to decide the team that would represent Alberta at the 2021 Tim Hortons Brier. There was some question on who Curling Alberta would choose as their provincial representatives as Team Bottcher were the reigning provincial champions but Team Harty were leading in the Alberta points tour. [15] If the association chose Team Harty to represent Alberta, there would be three Alberta teams qualified for the national championship as both Bottcher and Kevin Koe would qualify as two of the three Wild Card teams. Curling Alberta, however, chose Team Bottcher to represent Alberta at the Brier, ending Team Harty's chances of potentially competing in their first national championship. [16] The following season, Harty and his team did have enough points to qualify for the 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Pre-Trials for a chance to qualify for the 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials. [17] At the Pre-Trials, the team finished with a disappointing 0–6 record. [18]
Goller is employed as a Project Leader at NCS Multistage. [2]

Kevin Martin, nicknamed "The Old Bear" and "K-Mart", is a Canadian retired curler from Edmonton, Alberta, an Olympic, World and four-time Canadian champion and a member of the World Curling Hall of Fame. He is considered by many commentators and former and current curlers to be the greatest curler of all time. He is also known for his rivalries with Randy Ferbey/David Nedohin, the best Alberta provincial rivalry ever as the two teams were generally regarded the best in the world from 2002 to 2006; his rivalry with Jeff Stoughton, perhaps the most famous all prairies rivalry ever which spanned over 2 decades from 1991 to 2014; with Glenn Howard from 2007 to 2014, perhaps the best two team rivalry in Canadian curling history, and his rivalry with Sweden's Peja Lindholm from 1997 to 2006, perhaps the best ever men's Canada-Europe rivalry.
John C. Morris is a Canadian curler, and two-time Olympic gold medallist from Canmore, Alberta. Morris played third for the Kevin Martin team until April 24, 2013. Morris, author of the book Fit to Curl, is the son of Maureen and Earle Morris, inventor of the "Stabilizer" curling broom. Morris grew up in Gloucester, Ontario and at the age of five began curling at the Navy Curling Club.
Kevin Koe is a Canadian curler. Koe is a two-time World champion and four-time Canadian champion. He was the skip of the Canadian men's team at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.
Brendan Michael Bottcher is a Canadian curler from Sherwood Park, Alberta. Bottcher is a three-time provincial men's champion, and was the skip of the 2021 Canadian men's championship team, having led Alberta to victory at the 2021 Tim Hortons Brier.
Brendan "B. J." Neufeld is a Canadian curler from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Neufeld plays third for the Matt Dunstone rink. He started curling around the age of ten and, like older brother Denni Neufeld, cites the achievements of his father as leading his interest into the game of curling. His father is Chris Neufeld who was a three-time Manitoba curling champion and one time Labatt Brier champion in 1992 as part of the Vic Peters team.
Geoff Walker is a Canadian curler, currently living in Edmonton, Alberta. He currently plays lead for the Brad Gushue rink. He was the Men's World Champion in 2017 and won silver the following year in 2018. A five-time national champion, he won the Brier in 2017, 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2023. Walker was a two-time World Junior Champion when he won gold in 2006 and 2007.
Colton Flasch is a Canadian curler from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He currently plays third on Team Mike McEwen.
Karsten Sturmay is a Canadian curler from Leduc, Alberta. He is formerly the skip of the Alberta Golden Bears men's curling team in university curling and on the World Curling Tour.
Darren Moulding is a Canadian curler from Lacombe, Alberta and curls out of the Saville Sports Centre and the Lacombe Curling Club. He currently skips his own team out of Sudbury, Ontario. He is a former Canadian Junior Silver Medallist, a Canadian Mixed Champion, and represented Alberta in the 2017, 2018, 2020 and Team Wild Card in the 2019 Brier Canadian men's championship.
Bradley Thiessen is a Canadian curler. He was a long-time member of the Brendan Bottcher rink, throwing second stones for the team until 2022. With Bottcher, he won the 2021 Tim Hortons Brier and represented Canada at the 2021 World Men's Curling Championship.
Karrick Martin is a Canadian curler. He currently plays lead for Team Kevin Koe on the World Curling Tour. He is the son of 2010 Olympic champion skip Kevin Martin.

The 2018 Boston Pizza Cup was held 31 January to 4 February at the Grant Fuhr Arena in Spruce Grove, Alberta. The winning Brendan Bottcher rink represented Alberta at the 2018 Tim Hortons Brier in Regina, Saskatchewan.
The 2020 Alberta Boston Pizza Cup presented by Best Western, the provincial men's curling championship for Alberta, was held from February 5 to 9 at the Westlock Curling Club in Westlock, Alberta. The winning Brendan Bottcher rink represented Alberta at the 2020 Tim Hortons Brier in Kingston, Ontario.

The 2023 Boston Pizza Cup, the provincial men's curling championship for Alberta, was held February 8 to 12 at the River Cree Resort and Casino in Enoch, Alberta. The winning Kevin Koe rink represented Alberta at the 2023 Tim Hortons Brier in London, Ontario where after placing second in Pool A with a 7–1 record, they lost in the Championship round semifinal to Ontario 9–8.
