Kviskoteka is the name of a general knowledge television quiz broadcast by TV Zagreb. The quiz was created in 1979 and it aired for 15 years from 1980 to 1995. [1] [2]
The editor and author of the assignment was Lazo Goluža, and Darko Novaković, Branko Lipanović, Boris Senker, as well as other Croatian university professors participated in the creating of the questions. [3] Žarko Domljan and Pavao Pavličić who were part of the jury, also collaborated on the project.
The host of the quiz in the first four seasons was Ivan Hetrich, and then since 1984 Oliver Mlakar, for whom Kviskoteka is mainly associated.
While it aired on TV Zagreb, by many it was the most popular and watched quiz on the territory of the former SFRY.
Kviskoteka was renewed in 2006 on Nova TV, but has not gained much popularity and was removed from the program after one season. The quiz license was sold in 2008 to Serbian television "Foks".

Kviskoteka's mascot is Kvisko, a brown-colored wood figure designed by academic Miroslav Šutej. Kvisko was not awarded automatically, but it was won by every player who scored at least 7 points in the first game. Players could use it in one of the following games of their choice and then it would double the points scored in that game. Kvisko has become popular with the general public as a synonym for wild card.
Viewers have massively submitted their works on the theme of Kvisko in different crafting techniques, such as figures of different materials, paintings, tapestries, cakes... After sending Kvisko made of Pag lace, lace-makers have appeared in the "detection game". [5]
After the renewation of Kviskoteka in 2006, Kvisko's design and construction materials were changed. It is now made of plexiglass and is blue. [6]
Kvisko is the name for a quiz-based mobile application. Association game is the only category available so far. Behind the app is Kviskoteka's author himself, Lazo Goluža, among others. The English version is called iQuizco. [7]

All questions were based on television programmes past and present, and generally took the form of a short clip being shown followed by a series of questions either specifically about the clip or more generally about the programme from which it had been taken. Two teams sat opposite each other on sofas. The final series in 1998 had three teams of two players.

It is the first in the Sony's Buzz! series of video games, and it was released for the PlayStation 2 exclusively in Europe. Deal or No Deal is an Australian game show that originally aired on the Seven Network from 13 July 2003 to 4 October 2013. TV Slagalica or simply Slagalica is a Serbian quiz show produced by RTS and airs on RTS1. It is based on Des chiffres et des lettres, a French game show. It first aired on 22 November 1993. at 7 pm. It consists of seven simple mind games. Contestants play for a spot in the quarter-finals, semi finals and then the finals. Contestants win prizes as they progress. It has four female hosts: Marija Veljković, Kristina Radenković, Milica Gacin and Jelena Simić. After the end of each 10th series, winners of each of the previous 10 series', with the addition of 6 runners-up, play in the superfinal using the same system as a regular series. In the superfinal, there is also an additional game played.
Buzz!: The Mega Quiz, released as Buzz! The Maha Quiz in India, was developed by Relentless Software and is the fourth game in the Buzz! series for the PlayStation 2, alongside Buzz! Junior: Robo Jam. Buzz! The Mega Quiz has over 5,000 questions. Along with Buzz! Junior: Jungle Party, this was one of the first Buzz games released in North America, also the first game in the series to have a 12+ rating by PEGI.

Panahon Ko 'to!: Ang Game Show ng Buhay Ko was a Philippine trivia game show broadcast by ABS-CBN, hosted by the duo Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford from Pilipinas Got Talent. The program premiered on June 28, 2010, and Originally aired every weekday afternoons from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM on the network's Hapontastic afternoon block. On September 29, 2010 onwards, the program moved its timeslot to 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM on the network's ' Umaganda morning block. The game show permanently ended on November 26, 2010.
Dadagiri Unlimited is an Indian Bengali language quiz show. The programme has been airing on Zee Bangla since 2009. Sourav Ganguly, the former captain of the India national cricket team and former president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, hosted the first two seasons. Actor Mithun Chakraborty replaced him in the third season, but Ganguly continued hosting the show replacing Chakraborty from the fourth season onwards.
Cleverdicks was a British television quiz show for Sky Atlantic, hosted by Ann Widdecombe. Running for 30 episodes, it was later repeated on Challenge. Four contestants competed in each episode for the right to call themselves "cleverdicks" and play for a roll-over cash jackpot. As explained by Widdecombe at the beginning of the first episode, a cleverdick is a person who is "irritatingly and ostentatiously knowledgeable or intelligent." The question material was therefore primarily academic in nature.
