Kyle Loza (born May 15, 1986) is an FMX (Freestyle Motocross) rider residing in Trabuco Canyon, California. He is the founder and member of the group Riders 4 Christ [1] [2] and is a tattoo artist. [3]

He and his wife Casey front an Orange County rock band called "Piranha Fever". [4] Loza has been playing guitar since he was 8 years old as well as drums. He also produces all of their music in their recording studio. Casey plays bass and writes lyrics. [5]

Riding

Loza won back-to-back-to-back gold for Moto X Best Trick in the X Games XIII in 2007 with a move he invented called The Volt, and X Games XIV in 2008, with another of his invented moves – Electric Doom. He was the first person to have won three X Games Moto X Best Trick gold medals in a row. [6] He also won silver at the inaugural X Games Mexico in September 2007. [7] He also won a gold medal at X Games 15 in which the judges went with Loza's Electric Doom to Kiss of Death but some Internet fans[ who? ] thought another competitors "innovation" should have taken gold. He now holds the record for winning three consecutive gold medals for Best Moto X Trick and is the only one in the history of the X Games to achieve this. To win his third gold medal he showed the crowd an improved version of the trick which led him to gold in 2008 on the X Games XIV. The trick is called "Electric Doom". Loza chose to sit out of last Moto X best trick due to a nagging wrist injury.

Riders 4 Christ

Riders 4 Christ are a group of Evangelical Christian freestyle motocross riders. [8] [9] The team is made up of Greg Hartman, Tori Norris, Kenny Bartram, Kyle Loza, Nate Adams, Mike Metzger, Ronnie Faisst, Destin Cantrell, Jimmie McGuire and Bryan Dowdy. [10] [11] Their vision is to push their sport while showing that their faith is a truly important part of their lives.

Personal life

Loza is married to Casey Patridge, and together they have two sons. Casey has a daughter. [12]

Kenny Bartram is an American professional freestyle motocross rider (FMX). Bartram is from Stillwater, Oklahoma, and is nicknamed "The Cowboy." Bartram usually wears orange in competition reflecting the colors of nearby Oklahoma State University. Before his career in FMX, he won many Oklahoma State Series MX Races. Out of all other riders, he currently has the most wins with 57 in all. Bartam has also suffered plenty of injuries, including 22 broken bones, 7 knocked out teeth, a steel plate in the jaw, and a damaged blood vessel in the brain. Bartram is contracted with KTM.

Continuing to race up until his last Fastcross in Italy 2000, he became increasingly involved in the emerging sport of Freestyle Motocross, performing half-time jump shows at football games as early as 1987. Takayuki "Taka" Higashino is a Japanese freestyle motocross rider who has competed in international events including the X-Games, being the first Japanese medalist in the X-Games. He has three X-Games Gold Medals in Freestyle Moto. The only other rider to win more than three Golds in FMX along with Travis Pastrana. Colby Raha is an X Games and motocross competitor. Raha entered X-Games Minneapolis 2017 as a relatively unknown rider but has quickly become one of the most accomplished freestyle riders, racking up several X Games Medals since his debut. Raha is known for his big air, blending his unique BMX background into his FMX tricks, and has gained popularity on social media for performing street stunts with a dirt bike. In the 2020 Real Moto X Games he became the world's first athlete to grind a rail on a full-Sized motorcycle.
