Kyle Swanston (born October 24, 1986) is an American former professional basketball player for the Akita Northern Happinets of the Japanese bj league. [1] He played college basketball at James Madison and went undrafted during the 2009 NBA draft.
Swanston was born in Brooksville, Florida. He was a star basketball player at Worcester Academy, graduating in 2005. He was regarded a 0-star recruit coming out of high school.
He committed to play for James Madison University with interest in 3 other colleges. [1] [2]
Swanston finished 3rd in JMU history for three-pointers made with 206. He led the CAA made in the 2008-2009 season (95). Tied JMU's record for three-pointers made in a single game against Liberty with 9 in the 2008-2009 season.

Richard Roby is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Shinshu Brave Warriors of the Japanese B.League. He attended high school at Lawrence Academy at Groton, Massachusetts. Roby attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and played for the Buffaloes from 2004 to 2008. He averaged 17 points and 5.5 rebounds during his career for the Buffaloes. He graduated as Colorado's all-time leading scorer, doing so in his final collegiate game.
The James Madison Dukes are the intercollegiate athletics teams that represent James Madison University (JMU), in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The name "Dukes" is derived from Samuel Page Duke, the university's second president. The Dukes play as members of the Sun Belt Conference, which sponsors sports at the NCAA Division I level. In football, JMU participates in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of Division I, formerly known as Division I-A. JMU was a charter member of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA),. The Akita Northern Happinets are a Japanese professional basketball team based in Akita that competes in the Eastern Conference of the First Division of the B.League. The team was formed as an expansion team of the bj league in 2010 and found success for the first time in 2013–14, finishing their fourth season as league runners-up. They went on to finish as runners-up for the second year in a row in 2014–15 and in third place in 2015–16, the final season of the bj league.
Leo Lyons is an American professional basketball player for Altiri Chiba of the B3 League. Lyons was born in Topeka, Kansas, and went to high school at Coastal Christian Academy and Piper High School. At both of these high schools, he excelled on the basketball teams. He went to the University of Missouri for college and played four seasons of basketball before going undrafted in the 2010 NBA draft.

Taguchi was a new captain of Happinets in 2016.

Kenny Bernard Taylor is an American former professional basketball player for the Akita Northern Happinets of the Japanese bj league. He played college basketball for Baylor University and University of Texas.
Curtis Eugene Raymond Terry is an American former professional basketball player for the Akita Northern Happinets of the Japanese bj league. On November 1, 2010, he was selected by the Texas Legends in the seventh round of the 2010 NBA Development League Draft. His playing career continued until 2012, and the next year he began a coaching career which he continues today.
Anthony Joseph Coleman is an American former professional basketball player and current assistant coach for the University of Colorado Boulder. He played professionally for the Akita Northern Happinets of the Japanese bj league. On November 11, 2010, he set his career high in points in a Japanese bj League game. That day he scored 14 points in Akita Northern Happinets's home loss against Tokyo Apache, 87–99.
Matt Lewis is an American professional basketball player for Le Mans of the French LNB Pro A and the Basketball Champions League (BCL). He played college basketball player for the James Madison Dukes.
