Hardware
The devices' front side has a keypad for dialing and sending SMS. The phone's dimensions are 112mm (H) x 52mm (W) x 17mm (D) (4.41" (H) x 2.05" (W) x 0.67" (D)), with a weight of 125g (4.4 oz).
The Cosmos has a 2 inch, 240x320-pixel, 262K-color QVGA TFT LCD screen. It supports Bluetooth and low speed CDMA2000 1xRTT data, but not 802.11 networking.
The phone features a sliding 4-row QWERTY keyboard, front numeric dial pad with navigation d-pad. Input support for a single microSD/TransFlash/microSDHC memory card slot is present (support for up to 16 GB cards), and the phone also sports a microUSB (USB 2.0) data port for charging and data transfer. Phone memory is limited to 19 MB. The Cosmos contains a full duplex speakerphone with external volume controls.
It communicates over 1.9 GHz CDMA PCS, 800 MHz CDMA (Digital Dual–Band). The phone is M3/T4 rated for hearing aid compliance, and supports digital TTY/TTD for the hearing impaired.
Software
The Cosmos's OS (Operating System) is almost the same as the Env2, Env3 and the LG VX5500. It also has a Media Center for game downloads. No music player software is included with the Cosmos, however mp3s can be played through the My Sounds section of tunes and tones.
Phonebook
The phonebook is limited to 1000 contacts and has a dedicated ICE contact section. Each contact can store:
- 5 phone numbers (2 mobile, 1 home, 1 business, 1 fax)
- 2 email addresses (1 personal and 1 business)
- 1 physical address (street, city, state, zipcode, country)
- 1 IM screen name
- 1 associated picture ID (for pictures stored within the phone)
- 1 associated ringtone (for ringtones stored within the phone)
- 1 group association
- a notes section (30 characters only).
Speed dial
Speed dial on the Cosmos is limited to 999 entries (not including 1 as the voicemail default).
Bluetooth
The Cosmos contains Bluetooth version 2.1 (with A2DP and EDR support). Current versions of the phone OS support up to 20 Bluetooth pairings, however the software does not support Bluetooth OBEX profiles. Calendar events and contacts can be transferred via Bluetooth to a computer, and pictures stored on the phone can be printed via Bluetooth directly to a printer.
Camera and photo
The 1.3-megapixel camera uses default resolution of 1280x960 and supports 640x480 and 320x240. Its 2x digital zoom is not supported at the default 1280x960 pixel resolution. The camera software supports night mode, white balance and several visual effects. It has no video capture capability. Photo manipulation software allows zoom, rotate, and crop as well as noise reduction. Direct upload of photos to Facebook and other online album services is supported.
Messaging
Cosmos supports text and picture messaging. Messages are threaded by default, although this feature can be disabled.

The LG Cosmos can integrate with Verizon's Backup Assistant to update and manage contacts. It can wirelessly sync the address book in the phone with the address book online in Backup Assistant (manually or automatically).
Each contact entry in Backup Assistant can contain information that is not sent to the phone (e.g. birthdays, middle names, etc.). Extra information stored online in Backup Assistant is not transferred to the phone. Certain information on the phone is not stored in Backup Assistant, including Groups/Category, Ringer, SMS Ringer, Picture ID, Secret, Speed Dial, Primary Phone and Voice Dial.
This information may be removed from the entry in the phone during sync. If an entry marked as ICE undergoes significant changes, the ICE status may be removed from the entry upon sync.
A mobile phone feature is a capability, service, or application that a mobile phone offers to its users. Mobile phones are often referred to as feature phones, and offer basic telephony. Handsets with more advanced computing ability through the use of native code try to differentiate their own products by implementing additional functions to make them more attractive to consumers. This has led to great innovation in mobile phone development over the past 20 years.
Nokia 8210 is a mobile phone by Nokia, announced on 8 October 1999 in Paris. At the time, it was the smallest, lightest Nokia mobile phone on the market. A primary selling point of its design was its removable cover that allowed for easy customization. Six differently coloured Xpress-on covers are available, as well as many third-party ones.
The Motorola ROKR, the first version of which was informally known as the iTunes phone, was a series of mobile phones from Motorola, part of a 4LTR line developed before the spin out of Motorola Mobility. ROKR models were released starting in September 2005 and ending in 2009. They were notable for incorporating support of media player features.
The BlackBerry Pearl was a series of smartphones developed by Research In Motion, and was the first BlackBerry device with a camera and media player. It was originally released on September 12, 2006. T-Mobile was the first US carrier to release the phone as a carrier device. The last BlackBerry Pearl released was the 9100 series on May 13, 2010. After this model was cleared out, RIM discontinued the Pearl series.
The LG CU500 is a mobile phone manufactured by LG and was released in December 2006. It was LG Group's first cell phone in the United States to include HSDPA capability, and also the first cell phone to work with Cingular's HSDPA network. The LG CU500v is a software upgrade to the LG CU500 which supports video calls.
The Motorola Q9c is a Windows Mobile 6 smartphone, a slim device with a similar style to Motorola's MOTORAZR.
The LG enV² was a Verizon Wireless digital messaging feature phone manufactured by LG. It was available in standard black as well as maroon. Both the colors were available at Verizon Wireless in the U.S., and Telus stores and Koodo stores in Canada, and were released on the same date. It was also capable of installing VZ Navigator. The original price of the phone at release was $129 after a $50 mail-in-rebate. It had dropped to $79.99, and then to $49.99, but as of February 2009, the price had returned to $129.99. Best Buy stores used to offer the enV² for a price of $49.99 with a 2-year contract. After June 2012, a data plan for the phone was optional.
The LG Rumor is a mobile phone released by LG Electronics in September 2007. The phone was available in many different colors, and features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard in addition to the standard 12-button keypad, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and a 176x220 pixel screen. It was the first from the LG Rumor line.
Released during Q3 2007 for T-Mobile in the US, the Samsung Blast (SGH-T729) slider features a double-tap QWERTY keypad, music player, stereo bluetooth and a MicroSD slot.
The LG VX9700 is a CDMA touch screen cell phone made by LG. The phone features touch screen navigation, a 3.2-megapixel camera with face recognition and many photo enhancing tools, a camcorder, customizable shortcut menus, handwriting recognition, and a multitask music player. The LG Dare is the third phone to have Rev. A technology - after the Sprint Mogul and Touch.
The LG KS360 is a mobile phone manufactured by LG Electronics, released in Q3 2008. The model is marketed in some regions as the "Webslider" and "Neon".
The Samsung SGH-i907, marketed as the Samsung Epix in the United States by AT&T Wireless, is a Windows Mobile-based quad-band GSM smartphone manufactured by Samsung.
The LG Rumor 2 and LG Script is a Sprint, Bell Mobility, Solo Mobile, Virgin Mobile USA and Virgin Mobile Canada feature phone manufactured by LG Electronics. It is available in black titanium, vibrant blue, purple, gray, and orange. The phones are offered by Sprint in Black, Blue, and Orange and were released in March 2009. The regular price of the phone is $249.99.
The LG enV3 is a mobile phone built by LG Electronics, and released from Verizon Wireless in the United States and Telus Mobility in Canada. It succeeded the LG enV2. Along with a slimmer design, the enV3 also boasts a full keyboard, a 2.6-inch screen and a 3.0-megapixel camera. In addition to standard phone and text messaging capabilities, the enV3 can be used as a portable music player as well as Internet capabilities such as e-mail and web browsing. The phone is Bluetooth enabled.
The LG KF900, also known as the LG Prada II, is a touchscreen, with slide out qwerty keyboard, mobile phone made by LG Electronics. It is the second version of the Prada phone, following the original LG Prada (KE850). The phone's looks are basically the same as the original Prada, but the Prada II is slightly thicker, taller and heavier, to support a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard. There is also a front-facing camera for use with video calling. The interface has been updated from the original. The camera has been increased from 2 to 5 megapixels with a LED photolight. The Prada II also now supports 3G and HSDPA for faster internet browsing. The Prada II has support for the Prada Link, which is bluetooth watch that allows information on incoming phone calls or text messages, the phone's alarm, or the world time clock.
The LG Versa (VX9600) is a mobile phone for use on the Verizon Wireless network. Like the LG Dare VX-9700, the Versa has a full touch screen and onscreen QWERTY keyboard. The Vers also accepts handwriting recognition or gesture control for entering phone numbers and typing. The phone includes a HTML mobile web web browser, a built-in MP3 music player, access to Verizon Wireless's VCAST multimedia services, and mobile e-mail services. The phone includes a 2.0-mp digital camera with zoom, autofocus, and flash. The phone also had a built-in camcorder. An expandable MicroSD card slot is included into the phone, though no MicroSD card is pre-installed into the device. The difference between the LG Dare and the Versa is that the Versa featured a unique, foldout QWERTY keyboard that was detachable. Originally included with the Versa, the QWERTY keyboard was no longer included and only available as an accessory at Verizon Wireless retail stores. The attachment also included send and end call keys so that the user could answer an incoming call even with the flip closed. The attachment also included an integrated LED display screen that displayed information such as the currently-playing music track, current time, current date, signal strength, type of CDMA signal that the phone was currently operating on, the network provider's name, and who is calling, should an incoming call come through when the case is attached and closed.

The Nokia C3-00 is a QWERTY keypad feature phone with Nokia Series 40 mobile operating system released under the Cseries line of phones by Nokia. It features a full 4-line QWERTY keyboard, like the earlier Nokia 6800 series. It was advertised as an entry-level messaging and social networking phone, retailing at 90 euros before taxes. It was introduced on April 13, 2010, alongside the Nokia E5 and C6.
The Nokia Asha 310, also known as the Nokia Asha 3010 or the Nokia ASHA 310 RM-911, was released in March 2013. It is the first in the line of the Asha range of phones to have dual subscriber identity module (SIM) slots and Wi-Fi connectivity. It was a reinvention of the Asha range to remain competitive with new Android devices. It cost $102.00 at its launch date. It has a touchscreen, comes with either a 2 or 4 GB micro SD card, and has 64 MB of RAM, a 2 MP camera and a battery that can last up to 600 hours in standby mode. The phone can play music for up to 54 hours or video for up to 9.5 hours, and has a maximum of 17 hours talk time (2G).
