Pantech Inc. is a South Korean company that manufactures mobile phones. Established in 1991, its market is mainly domestic with partners in the United States, Japan, China, Europe and Vietnam. In 2012 Pantech was the second best-selling handset maker in South Korea, according to Gartner. In 2013 Samsung Electronics bought a 10% stake in Pantech. Pantech also partners with PCD for specialized phones.
The LG enV(pronounced "envy"), also known as the VX9900, is a Bluetooth-enabled and V CAST-ready mobile phone that includes a full "qwerty" keyboard and a 2.0 megapixel camera. It comes in three color variations: silver, orange, and green.
The Samsung SCH-U750, marketed as Samsung Alias 2 and also as Samsung Zeal, was a cell phone made by Samsung. The phone was only available in metallic gray. It features a dual-hinge design that can be opened in portrait or landscape style. The Alias 2 featured an E Ink-based keyboard. The Samsung Alias was a cell phone made by Samsung. The phone was originally available in a champagne finish then black, with the dialing keys in grey in contrast to black keys. A subsequent relaunch under the "Alias" name was accompanied by the switch to a blue/silver color scheme with the dialing keys half white and half black instead of grey and black. It features a dual-hinge design that can be opened portrait or landscape style. The LG enV2 was a Verizon Wireless digital messaging feature phone manufactured by LG. It was available in standard black as well as maroon. Both the colors were available at Verizon Wireless in the U.S., and Telus stores and Koodo stores in Canada, and were released on the same date. It was also capable of installing VZ Navigator. The original price of the phone at release was $129 after a $50 mail-in-rebate. It had dropped to $79.99, and then to $49.99, but as of February 2009, the price had returned to $129.99. Best Buy stores used to offer the enV² for a price of $49.99 with a 2-year contract. After June 2012, a data plan for the phone was optional.
The HTC Touch Pro is a smart phone from the Touch series of Internet-enabled Windows Mobile Pocket PC smartphones designed and marketed by HTC Corporation of Taiwan. It is an enhanced version of the HTC Touch Diamond with the addition of a left-side slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a microSD card slot, and a camera flash. The Touch Pro smartphone's functions include those of a camera phone and a portable media player in addition to text messaging and multimedia messaging. It also offers Internet services including e-mail, instant messaging, web browsing, and local Wi-Fi connectivity. Depending on its market, it is a quad-band GSM or quad-band UMTS phone with GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, and HSUPA or a tri-band CDMA phone with 1xEV-DO Rev A. All versions feature TouchFLO 3D — a new enhanced version of the TouchFLO interface, unique only to the latest Touch series. In March 2009, HTC announced a new version, the Touch Pro2 which has a larger screen (3.6") and a redesigned slide out QWERTY keyboard with spaces between the keys.

Samsung SCH-U940 is a Verizon Wireless touch-screen smartphone made by Samsung. The Glyde was based on the popular European Croix, but was later adapted for the United States. It was released in late May 2008 in Verizon stores. As of August 2009, the phone is no longer listed for sale on Verizon's website. The phone features touch screen navigation, a 2.0-megapixel camera/camcorder with flash, customizable shortcut menus, and a full HTML browser. The phone has been replaced by a newer version, the Samsung Rogue.

The BlackBerry Tour is a consumer smartphone developed by Research In Motion and is part of the 9600 device series. This high-end messaging phone combines the multimedia features of the Curve with the global roaming of the 8830, plus a higher-resolution display, 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera, overseas 3G data and faster EVDO Rev. A data in the United States and Canada. Other key features include voice calling, video capture, a 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD slot, push email, a QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, and GPS navigation. The BlackBerry Tour was released on July 12, 2009. In 2010, the 'Tour 2' refresh was re-branded as the Blackberry Bold 9650 when RIM decided to merge the GSM and CDMA2000 variants under the same brand.

The LG enV3 is a mobile phone built by LG Electronics, and released from Verizon Wireless in the United States and Telus Mobility in Canada. It succeeded the LG enV2. Along with a slimmer design, the enV3 also boasts a full keyboard, a 2.6-inch screen and a 3.0-megapixel camera. In addition to standard phone and text messaging capabilities, the enV3 can be used as a portable music player as well as Internet capabilities such as e-mail and web browsing. The phone is Bluetooth enabled.
The LG KF900, also known as the LG Prada II, is a touchscreen, with slide out qwerty keyboard, smartphone made by LG Electronics. It is the second version of the Prada phone, following the original LG Prada (KE850). The phone's looks are basically the same as the original Prada, but the Prada II is slightly thicker, taller and heavier, to support a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard. There is also a front-facing camera for use with video calling. The interface has been updated from the original. The camera has been increased from 2 to 5 megapixels with a LED photolight. The Prada II also now supports 3G and HSDPA for faster internet browsing. The Prada II has support for the Prada Link, which is bluetooth watch that allows information on incoming phone calls or text messages, the phone's alarm, or the world time clock.
The LG Versa (VX9600) is a mobile phone for use on the Verizon Wireless network. Like the LG Dare VX-9700, the Versa has a full touch screen and onscreen QWERTY keyboard. The Versa also accepts handwriting recognition or gesture control for entering phone numbers and typing. The phone includes a HTML mobile web web browser, a built-in MP3 music player, access to Verizon Wireless's VCAST multimedia services, and mobile e-mail services. The phone includes a 2.0-mp digital camera with zoom, autofocus, and flash. The phone also had a built-in camcorder. An expandable MicroSD card slot is included into the phone, though no MicroSD card is pre-installed into the device. The difference between the LG Dare and the Versa is that the Versa featured a unique, foldout QWERTY keyboard that was detachable. Originally included with the Versa, the QWERTY keyboard was no longer included and only available as an accessory at Verizon Wireless retail stores. The attachment also included send and end call keys so that the user could answer an incoming call even with the flip closed. The attachment also included an integrated LED display screen that displayed information such as the currently-playing music track, current time, current date, signal strength, type of CDMA signal that the phone was currently operating on, the network provider's name, and who is calling, should an incoming call come through when the case is attached and closed.
The LG Cosmos is a slider mobile phone made by LG Electronics. The phone is available in both a touch screen and non-touch screen model. It became available on Verizon Wireless in Q1 2010, and was replaced by LG Cosmos 2 in July 2011. The phone has 1.3-megapixel camera, VZ Navigator, Voicemail, Media Center, QWERTY keyboard and SMS and MMS messaging.
The LG Optimus One is an entry-level series of touch-screen smartphones manufactured by LG Electronics, Inc. It was released running the Android 2.2 Froyo, and later LG released software to upgrade it to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Although the basic physical form factor of each variant is the same, the variants have differences in hard button shape and layout, the form of the metal side bezel and the user interfaces added by LG or various carriers. Versions of the Optimus One exist that operate on various frequency bands and either GSM or CDMA-based network protocols. They may also feature one or more variations in hardware, such as a faster processor, the addition of a physical keyboard, a modem with higher theoretical speeds, or a better digital camera.
The LG Octane is a 3G phone for Verizon Wireless, released in October 2010 as a basic feature phone to replace the LG enV3. The Octane features a full QWERTY keyboard, as well as a 3.2 megapixel camera/camcorder with a built in flash. The LG Octane has since been retired. It features a side flip form factor, similar to the LG enV3 (2009), LG enV2 (2008), LG enV (2006), and the LG VX9800 (2005). The LG Extravert is a basic phone made by LG Electronics and was carried by Verizon Wireless. It runs on the Brew MP mobile operating system. The phone is distinctive for having a sliding QWERTY keyboard. It was introduced around early 2012. It is a successor to the wildly successful LG Cosmos, specifically the Cosmos Touch.
