La Fuerza del Destino is Fey's fifth studio album, released in December 2004. The album contains twelve tracks the popular Spanish band Mecano made famous in the 80s and early 90s.
The album's first single La Fuerza del Destino became the album's biggest hit, as it quickly topped the charts in Latin America and became No.1 in Mexico, Central America and Chile, as well as a top 5 hit in the world Latin charts. The album itself became No. 5 in Mexico and succeeded in positioning itself among the top 50 Latin albums in the United States, at #42.
The album was nominated to a Latin Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Album in 2005; but lost to Escucha by Italian singer Laura Pausini.
The album to date has sold more than 550,000 copies worldwide.

Mecano was a Spanish pop band formed in 1981 and active until 1992. Mecano became one of the most successful Spanish pop bands of all time. The band is still the best-selling Spanish band, with over 25 million records worldwide. They were considered by some to be avant-garde for their time and part of la Movida Madrileña countercultural movement. They had a brief comeback in 1998.
María Fernanda Blázquez Gil, known artistically as Fey, is a Latin Grammy Award-nominated Mexican singer, songwriter, designer, dancer, record producer, and director. She has released seven studio albums and done one international tour and a short tour to promote her third studio album. She rose to fame with her self-titled debut album, Fey, released in 1995, which was followed by Tierna La Noche, and El Color De Los Sueños. All three studio albums were produced by José Ramón Florez. Tierna La Noche reached #10 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart.
El viaje de Copperpot is Spanish pop rock band La Oreja de Van Gogh's second studio album, issued by Epic Records on 11 September 2000. It was the band's first album to feature a bonus track. El viaje de Copperpot is the band's most successful album in Spain; after going platinum on its release day, it sold more than 1,300,000 copies and received a diamond certification. The album also catapulted the band's fame in Latin America going 3× Platinum in Mexico. Over 2,000,000 copies were sold worldwide. The album's title is inspired by Chester Copperpot, a scavenger in the film The Goonies.
Álex Ubago is a Spanish singer-songwriter. He is especially known for his heartfelt voice and his ballads. He was able to record his debut album ¿Qué pides tú? when manager Iñigo Argomaniz that used to go to Alex's cousin's bar heard a demo that Alex made for his girlfriend. His first album contains songs from that first demo recording; the songs are "Sabes" and "Hay Que Ver". Alex started to tour national radios with his guitar to sing his songs live and get further exposure. Eventually, this strategy worked, and his album finally hit the charts. But he reached absolute fame with the publication of the song "Sin Miedo A Nada", featuring Amaia Montero, which is his biggest hit to date.
La Quinta Estación was a Spanish pop/rock band composed of two musicians from Madrid: Natalia Jiménez and Ángel Reyero (guitar). Pablo Domínguez (2001–2008) was the third member until his recent split. The band originated in Madrid with six members but the remaining three relocated to Mexico in 2001 after recording their first album Primera toma.
Thalía | Greatest Hits is a compilation album by Mexican pop star Thalía. Released on February 10, 2004, the album features 14 singles from her five previous albums of original material for EMI Latin, plus two previously unreleased songs "Acción y Reacción" & "Cuando Tu Me Tocas". All of the songs appear in Spanish, including those originally released in English. In April and May 2004, Thalía toured the United States and Mexico on her High Voltage Tour. This marked the first time Thalía toured the US.

Descanso Dominical is the fifth studio album by Spanish pop band Mecano. It was released on May 24, 1988 in Spain and Spanish America, 1989 in Italy and 1990 in France under Ariola Records. This was the album that reaffirmed their stardom as worldwide artists. Before its release, this album was intended to be a 2-disc album due to the large amount of material, but that intent was cancelled. The album is also known in France as Une Femme Avec Une Femme and as Figlio della Luna in Italy.
