La Ley is a two-time Latin Grammy Award winning Chilean pop rock band formed in 1987 by lead singer Beto Cuevas. They released their debut album Desiertos in 1990, which was commercially unsuccessful. In 1991 released their official first studio album, Doble Opuesto featured a cover version of The Rolling Stones' #1 hit single "Angie". In 1993 released La Ley , in 1995 released Invisible ; Vértigo in 1998. In 1999 released Uno , which is considered to be their most successful album to date, and their last one Libertad . They also performed on MTV Unplugged , and released a greatest hits compilation, Historias e Histeria . The band reunited in 2014.

<i>Historias e Histeria</i> 2004 greatest hits album by La Ley

Historias e Histeria is La Ley's second greatest hits compilation album. The band was convinced to do this in lieu of a new studio album. The band had to make an album of 16 songs in very limited amount of time. The album was released almost immediately after their previous album Libertad after only one year of the latter's release. The album contains some of the most popular songs of each of their albums plus three new songs, "Mirate", "Histeria", and "Bienvenido al Anochecer." The first single of the album Mírate was released while the band was still promoting the final single "Mi Ley" from the album, Libertad.

Libertad is La Ley's seventh studio album. It was inspired primarily by the September 11 attacks. The album contains the hits "Ámate y Sálvate", "Más allá" and "Mi Ley". This is the band’s second studio album as a trio.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">CNCO</span> Latin boy band

CNCO was an American latin boy band based in Miami, Florida. The group consisted of Richard Camacho, Erick Brian Colón, Christopher Vélez and Zabdiel De Jesús; Joel Pimentel was a member until his departure in May 2021. They won a five-year recording contract with Sony Music Latin after becoming the winning competitors of the first season of La Banda. The band toured with Ricky Martin. Their debut and second singles "Tan Fácil" and "Quisiera", charted well soon after their debut. They released their first album, Primera Cita, on August 26, 2016, which included the hit "Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos)".
