Uno (English: One) is the sixth studio album by Chilean rock band La Ley, released on February 21, 2000, by Warner Music Group. [1]
This was the first album released by the band after the departure of Rodrigo Aboitiz and Luciano Rojas. The band went on to record this studio album as a trio, with the addition of guest Archie Frugone to record the bass tracks.
Touring bassist J.C. Cumplido returned to tour with them until his departure from the lineup in 2001. Cumplido was replaced by Archie Frugone for the remainder of the tour and beyond.
Stylistically, this album was seen as a departure from the darker, more electro-industrial style of Vértigo , and the grunge-fused goth style of Invisible , adopting a more straightforward Alternative Rock sound with fewer experimental ambient sounds.
The song “Amor y Fe” goes back to the band's original new wave sound, and can be traced back to 1990, when the band was in the studio for the Desiertos sessions, ultimately being re-recorded for this album. To date, it is the last contribution from Andrés Bobe on any of the band's material, as the song was written with Bobe before his passing.
The album was a breakthrough success in the United States, effectively establishing the band's fan base in that country, ultimately winning the Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album [2] and reaching #41 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums. [3]
Five singles were spawned from this album, with "Aquí", "Fuera de mí", and "Eternidad” receiving considerable airplay.
The single "Aquí" was performed at the Miss Universe 2001 pageant hosted in Bayamón, Puerto Rico being televised on CBS in the United States, Canal 13 in Chile and worldwide. As of November 2023, "Aquí" has had over 38 million streams on Spotify.

La Ley were a Chilean rock band formed by Andrés Bobe, Rodrigo Aboitiz, Luciano Rojas and Mauricio Claveria with Beto Cuevas. The band has won one Grammy Award, two Latin Grammy Awards, three Lo Nuestro Awards and three Premios MTV Latinoamérica.
Aldo Nova is the stage name of Aldo Caporuscio, a Canadian hard rock musician and music producer. He is a guitarist, keyboardist, and vocalist. He gained recognition with his 1982 debut album Aldo Nova, which peaked at Billboard's number 8 position, and its accompanying single, "Fantasy", which reached number 23 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and boosted sales for its parent album. In 1997, he won a Grammy Award for Album of the Year as co-producer of Celine Dion's 1996 album Falling into You. Luis Alberto Cuevas Olmedo, better known as Beto Cuevas, is a Chilean-Canadian singer, songwriter, plastic artist, painter, and actor. He is the lead singer for the Chilean band La Ley. In 2008 he launched his solo career with the release of his album, Miedo Escénico. In 2012 he released his second album, Transformación.
Doble Opuesto is the second album of the Chilean rock band La Ley and the first commercially successful one after their debut album, Desiertos, failed to sell. The album was released in October 1991 under the production of Jorge Melibosky. Band members for this record were Andrés Bobe (guitars), Mauricio Clavería (drums), Alberto Cuevas (vocals) and Luciano Rojas (bass). Bobe provides vocals for the song "En Lugares".
Historias e Histeria is La Ley's second greatest hits compilation album. The band was convinced to do this in lieu of a new studio album. The band had to make an album of 16 songs in very limited amount of time. The album was released almost immediately after their previous album Libertad after only one year of the latter's release. The album contains some of the most popular songs of each of their albums plus three new songs, "Mirate", "Histeria", and "Bienvenido al Anochecer." The first single of the album Mírate was released while the band was still promoting the final single "Mi Ley" from the album, Libertad.
Vértigo is La Ley's fifth album, released in 1998.
Invisible is La Ley's fourth album. It is their second best selling album. The album reunites La Ley again with Rodrigo Aboitiz and invites a new member, Pedro Furgone, after the death of founder Andres Bobe. The album begins the dark era of La Ley. It was also La Ley's first album to have a song completely in French.
Cara de Dios is an EP by the Chilean band La Ley. La Ley performed a new song, "En La Ciudad", at a live TV concert, which set the expectations for the release of a new album. Because fans were expecting an album featuring the song, PolyGram decided to release "Cara de Dios", which remains an album searched for by the fans, similar to the albums Desiertos, Doble Opuesto, and La Ley. Two singles were released from the album, for which no music videos were produced and this is the final album with band founder and guitarist Andrés Bobe.

The 3rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards were held in Los Angeles at the Kodak Theatre on Wednesday, September 18, 2002. Alejandro Sanz was the night's big winner, winning a total of three awards including Album of the Year. The ceremony returned in style after the 2001 ceremony was cancelled because of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks across America.

En Primera Fila is the third live album by Venezuelan recording artist Franco De Vita. It was released by Sony Music on May 31, 2011, after a three-year gap since the release of De Vita's last studio album. De Vita worked as producer with David Cabrera. The album is part of the live albums series entitled Primera Fila, promoted by the record label and including De Vita's greatest hits on re-worked versions and new songs.
