Laiza Carrillo Mesa (born November 27, 1968) is a retired female long and triple jumper, who also competed in the heptathlon during her career. She set her personal best (14.43 metres) in the women's triple jump event on 1995-02-23 in Havana.

Cesar Carrillo is an American professional baseball pitcher who played in Major League Baseball with the San Diego Padres in 2009. Carrillo was released by the Detroit Tigers in 2013, after he was implicated in the Bio-Genesis scandal, he served a 100- game suspension under the Tigers minor league system. Rodrigo Daniel Pacheco Carrillo is a Peruvian badminton player. Pacheco started playing badminton when he was 6 years old at the club Regatas Lima. He had made his debut at the Pan Am Junior Championships in 1996, and became the senior national team member in 2001. He was the bronze medalists at the Pan American Games, in the men's singles event in 2007, and also in the mixed doubles event in 2007 and 2011. In 2010, he won triple gold medals at the South American Games in the men's doubles, mixed doubles, and mixed team event. He competed for Peru at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Pacheco educated Sports management at the University College of Northern Denmark.

He is a third-generation luchador, being the son of Humberto Garza Jr., the grandson of Humberto Garza, as well as the nephew of Hector Garza.
