Lakiele [laˈkʲɛlɛ] (German : Lakellen, 1938-45: Schönhofen) [1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kowale Oleckie, within Olecko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. [2]

Gmina Kowale Oleckie is a rural gmina in Olecko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the village of Kowale Oleckie, which lies approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) north of Olecko and 133 km (83 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
