Lal Nishan Party (Leninvadi) (Red Flag Party (Leninist)) is a communist political party in the Indian state of Maharashtra. LNP(L) was formed a splinter group of Lal Nishan Party in 1988. LNP(L) was critical to that LNP had gotten closer to the Indian National Congress and the Perestroika.
• LNP(L) is mainly concentrated to trade union activism. The trade union organization of the party is called Sarva Shramik Sanghathan. The strongest base of LNP(L) is in Pune. In general, LNP(L) does not contest elections in the current years. Its President was Madhukar Katre.
• LNP(L) has maintained good relation with some ML Fraction groups specially with Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation and Red Flag.
• The party was led by Ashok Manohar until his death in 2003. After the dead of Ashok Manohar the party is led by Bhimrao Bansod.
• Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2004 LNP(L) supported the candidates of Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Red Flag.
• LNP(L) published Leninwadi Lalnishan monthly paper from Pune the city of 'Maharashtra'.
The Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) (CPI (ML)) was an Indian communist party formed by the All India Coordination Committee of Communist Revolutionaries (AICCCR) at a congress in Calcutta in 1969. The foundation of the party was declared by Kanu Sanyal at a mass meeting in Calcutta on 22 April, Vladimir Lenin's birthday. Later the CPI(ML) party splintered into several Naxalite groups.
Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) is a communist party in India. The party is one of many working under the name of CPI (ML). The party general secretary was Kanu Sanyal. The name of the party is identical to the original Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) formed in 1969, of which Sanyal was also a key leader, but Sanyal has stated that his party is not the same as this party.
The Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation is a communist political party in India. The party is represented in Bihar and Jharkhand Legislative Assemblies. Since 2023, the party is also a member of the INDIA electoral alliance. In Bihar, the party has significant base amongst the Extremely Backward Castes and the Schedule Castes. It was successful in mobilising Upper Backward Caste groups such as Koeris in some districts of central Bihar, prior to the rise of Lalu Prasad Yadav. The party faced existential crisis when a large section of its Koeri and Yadav support base was defected to Rashtriya Janata Dal in 1990s. However, the ideological commitment of its cadre protected it from disintegration. It staged a comeback in politics after winning twelve seats in Bihar Legislative Assembly in 2020 and by sending two of its members to Lok Sabha in 2024 Indian general elections.
