Lala Band (stylized as LaLa Band) were a Romanian pop-rock band formed by MediaPro Music in Bucharest in 2011. The group was formed through a casting system held by MediaPro Music in February 2011 and 21 people were chosen to form Lala Band.
Lala Band debuted, at the same time when their TV series, Pariu cu viața , premiered on 12 September 2011, on Pro TV. After Pariu cu viața ended on 12 June 2013, a spin-off series was made as O nouă viață, which has aired on Acasă, from 17 February to 17 April 2014.
The group went successful in 2011, 2012 and 2013. The group disbanded shortly after O nouă viață ended. At the time of the disbandment, it only consisted of 12 members, who are Dorian Popa, Alina Eremia, Cristina Ciobănașu, Vlad Gherman, Sore Mihalache, Raphael Tudor, Alexia Talavutis, Dima Trofim, Bubu Cernea, Gabriel Ciocan, Ana Banciu and Alex Nicolae.

PRO TV is a Romanian free-to-air television network, launched on 1 December 1995 as the fourth private TV channel in the country. It is owned by CME, which is owned by PPF Group.
Alina Eremia is a Romanian singer, TV personality, and former member of the LaLa band, who represented Romania in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song Țurai. She plays Ioana in the teenage sitcom series Pariu cu viața. From 2014, she participated at the Romanian version of Dancing with the stars on Antena 1 and she was in the jury of Next Star.
MediaPro Music is a Romanian record label, part of the Universal Music Group. Launched in 1997, it became an integrated business of the Radio Company PRO in 2006. Between the main label and its sub-labels most music genres are covered, ranging from rock and pop, to dance, Latin, traditional folk, and children music. Moreover, the company is also involved in event planning and publishing activities. In 2015, it was confirmed that American corporation Universal Music Group acquired MediaPro Music.
Elena Alexandra Apostoleanu, known professionally as Inna, is a Romanian singer. Born in Mangalia and raised in Neptun, she studied political science at Ovidius University before meeting the Romanian trio Play & Win and pursuing a music career. She adopted the stage name "Alessandra" in 2008 and adopted a pop-rock style; later that year, she changed her stage name to "Inna" and began releasing house music. "Hot" (2008), her debut single, was a commercial success worldwide and topped the Romanian and Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay chart, among others. Her debut studio album of the same name followed in August 2009 and was certified Gold and Platinum. It featured several other successful singles in Europe, including "Amazing" (2009), the singer's second number-one single in Romania.
Romanian singer Inna has released eight studio albums, three compilations, 62 singles and 46 promotional singles. Her YouTube channel surpassed three billion total views as of May 2019. 24 of her singles have reached the top ten in Romania, with "Hot", "Amazing", "Diggy Down", "Bebe", "Up" and "Tare" topping the country's singles chart in 2008, 2009, 2015, 2020, 2021 and 2022, respectively. With global album sales of four million copies from her first three studio albums, Inna is the best-selling Romanian artist.
Alexandra Ioana Stan is a Romanian singer. Born in Constanța, she made her worldwide breakthrough with the 2010 single "Mr. Saxobeat", which was written and produced by Marcel Prodan and Andrei Nemirschi. They had previously discovered Stan at a karaoke bar in 2009 and signed her to their label, Maan Records. "Mr. Saxobeat" had followed the singer's debut single, "Lollipop " (2009), which brought her moderate fame in Romania. "Mr. Saxobeat" quickly achieved commercial success locally and abroad, reaching number one in several countries and gathering various certifications. Saxobeats, Stan's debut studio album, was released in August 2011 and features the follow-up singles "Get Back (ASAP)" (2011) and "Lemonade" (2012), which had moderate success in Europe.

Anda Adam is a Romanian singer and model. She is best known for her singles "My Love on You" and "Panda Madam". Anda began her music career in 1999, after collaborating with Romanian band R.A.C.L.A. on the songs "Nu mă uita" and "Fiesta" for their EP Nu mă uita. This inspired Anda to begin her own music career, releasing her debut EP Ca Între Fete later that year. In 2003, she released her secpmd EP Doar cu tine. Her debut album, Confidențial, was released on 14 April 2005, and featured the successful singles "Ce ți-aș face (Selecta)", "Ajutor", and "Nai, Nai". The album has sold over 20,000 copies in Romania as of 2007, being certified platinum. Her second album, Queen of Hearts, was released in February 2008, featuring the singles "Punani", and "Sufletul Meu", which became one of the most played songs on the radio back then. Her single "My Love On You" was released on 26 November 2009, which became the singer's biggest hit, reaching number one on Turkey and seven in Romania. Her third studio album, AMO was released in September 2013. The album featured singles that charted in both Romania and Turkey, such as "My Love On You", "Panda Madam", "Feel", "Show Me", "Say Goodbye", and many others.
Subcarpați is a Romanian hip-hop band from Bucharest. Formed in 2010 by MC Bean, the band blends hip-hop with elements from Romanian folk music. The genre seeks to reinterpret popular motifs specific to Romanian's folk music, and is often referred to as "underground folklore".

Nirvana is the fifth studio album by Romanian singer Inna. It was released on 11 December 2017 by Global Records and UMG in a partnership with supermarket chain Lidl. For this record, she collaborated with multiple producers, including Marcel Botezan, Sebastian Barac, Thomas Troelsen, Alex Cotoi and Vlad Lucan. It was entirely recorded at the studios of Global Records in Bucharest, Romania. Nirvana has been described as a pop album, with influences varying from electronic dance music (EDM), reggaeton and R&B to Latin, club and tropical music.

SuperStar România is the Romanian adaptation of the Idols franchise and premieres on September 10, 2021. Originally announced at the beginning of 2021, the show is scheduled to start airing this Fall on Pro TV. Thus, replacing Vocea României, which was usually the Fall–Winter music show on the television schedule. The jurors of the show will be: pop-rock anonymous artist Carla's Dreams, pop-R&B composer and producer Marius Moga, dance-house singer Raluka, and pop singer-songwriter and producer Smiley.
Killa Fonic is a Romanian singer and songwriter, former member of the band Șatra B.E.N.Z. The artist began a solo career and, in 2016, released his first album, Ramses 1989.
