Summit is a small unincorporated community more frequently referred to by locals as the Loma Prieta Community located partially in Santa Clara County but predominantly in Santa Cruz County, California, in the mountain ranges of the Santa Cruz Mountains. It lies at the summit along Highway 17 from which is gets its name. Home to a series of abandoned railroad towns and tunnels from a Los Gatos to Felton route before the 1940s, Public transportation by bus is also no longer available from the Summit Road area. VTA route 76 has been cancelled since June 2010, and the Highway 17 Express only stops in Scotts Valley. It is one of the few places in the San Francisco Bay Area to receive snowfall and the mountain pass which links the Silicon Valley and Monterey Bay is closed at this spot when snowfall is too heavy. Coxs Creek is an unincorporated community along U.S. Routes 31E/150 in Nelson County, Kentucky, United States, 4½ miles north of the county seat of Bardstown. It is named for Colonel Isaac Cox of Pennsylvania, who built a "fort" at the site in April 1775 before he fought in the American Revolutionary War, with the help of his brother James. The land had actually been his father's, but David moved back to Virginia before he developed it. More of a station, Cox's 1,000 acres (4.0 km2) was said to be the first pioneer station in Nelson County. Isaac Cox would later be the last white man to be killed by Indians during the time of the great Indian wars in what later became Kentucky.

Diascund Creek is the major tributary of the Chickahominy River in Virginia, part of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. The creek flows south and forms the border between New Kent County on the west and James City County on the east.
Diascund was a railway stop, unincorporated community, and post office in Virginia located at milepost 47 on the Peninsula Extension of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway in James City County. When this rail line was built in 1881, stations were established every few miles. To the west was the Lanexa station, and four miles to the east, Toano. The depot was east of the railroad’s crossing of Diascund Creek near the current Diascund Road. Along with other depots along the route, such as the surviving Lee Hall Depot, the Diascund depot was constructed in 1881 or shortly thereafter. By 1916 its board-and-baton siding it was painted in the "Colonial Buff" color scheme. The one-story depot was still standing in 1969. By 2008, it had been destroyed.
