Larry Gonzales is an American politician and business owner. He was a former Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives for the 52nd district from 2011 to 2018. [1] [2]
In 2010,Gonzales ran for election to the Texas House of Representatives. He successfully defeated John Gordon in the Republican primary. On November 2,2010,he defeated incumbent Democrat Diana Maldonado in the general election,winning 57.44% of the vote. [1] He assumed office on January 11,2011. [2]
Gonzalez did not file for re-election in 2018. On June 6,2018,Gonzalez released a statement announcing that he would be resigning from office on June 7,2018. [3] He was succeeded by James Talarico on November 19,2018. [1]
