Laura Fuertes is a Spanish boxer. [1] [2] [3] [4] She participated at the 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships, being awarded the bronze medal in the light flyweight division. [5] Fuertes was the first Spanish boxer to win a World Championships medal. [5] [6]

She won a bronze medal in the light flyweight division at the 2022 Mediterranean Games held in Oran, Algeria. [7]

She also participated at the 2019 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships in the light flyweight event, winning no medal. Balkibekova then participated at the 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships, being awarded the silver medal in the minimumweight event. In the final match, she was defeated by Ayşe Çağırır.

Aldana López is an Argentine boxer. She participated at the 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships, being awarded the bronze medal in the minimumweight event. López was the first and only person of her country to win a medal.
