Lawrence Leonard Nelson (born 8 May 1943) is a former Australian racing driver who raced from 1969 until 2018. Out of over 130 races that he participated in, Nelson won 1 race in 1979 and made the podium in 5 races in 1973 (twice), 1979, 2008 and 2016. [1] [2] [3]

Rapax Team was an Italian motor racing team. The team's history can be traced back to when the GP Racing team was founded in 1997, and also to when Piquet Sports was created in 2000 by triple world champion Nelson Piquet. In 2007, Piquet Sports and GP Racing merged to create "Minardi Piquet Sports". In 2008, the team dropped "Minardi" from their name.
