Half Hour of Power is the debut extended play by Canadian rock band Sum 41. It was released on June 27, 2000 on Big Rig Records, a subsidiary of Island Records, and Aquarius Records (Canada). The cover features the band's then-drummer Steve Jocz aiming a Nerf gun up in the air and standing in front of an explosion in the background. Though officially an EP, Half Hour of Power may also be considered the band's debut studio album. Most of the songs featured on the EP were included as bonus tracks on Sum 41's actual debut studio album All Killer No Filler, which featured a re-recorded version of Half Hour of Power's sixth track "Summer". This is the second of three times that this song was featured on a Sum 41 album. It first appeared on their 1998 demo tape. The group originally planned to include different versions of the song on each of their albums as a joke, but scrapped the idea after All Killer No Filler, as they felt that it would annoy their fanbase.

Fenix TX is an American pop punk band. The band originally formed as Riverfenix in 1995 in Houston, Texas. Under that name, they independently released an EP, G.B.O.H., and an album, Riverfenix, before having to change their name due to a cease and desist order from the estate of actor River Phoenix. Following the change of name, they signed with major label MCA Records in 1999. On MCA, they released two further albums, 1999's Fenix TX and 2001's Lechuza, which collectively sold over 600,000 units. The band broke up in 2002 over creative differences.

Most of the album's songs were re-recorded for Fenix TX, when Riverfenix was forced to change their name. This album has since been out of print and is a treasured collector's item among fans as "Skinhead Jessie", "Jaw" and the untitled tracks are not featured on the Fenix TX version release. "Apple Pie Cowboy Toothpaste" and "Jolly Green Dumbass" also featured short intros while "Rooster Song" had a slightly different sound and featured a small message within the silence leading into the second untitled track.

Damon DeLaPaz is an American drummer, guitarist, and songwriter. He was a founding member of the punk rock groups Fenix TX, 30footFALL, Demasiado, and Sing The Body Electric. He has also recorded an instrumental solo project called Sci-Fi/Horror. DeLaPaz has recorded, performed and toured with a variety of different bands and also toured as a fill in drummer for Blink-182, The Vandals, Good Charlotte, Pulley, Home Grown, Ape Machine, Trash Talk (band), and The Last Internationale.
Close the Distance is the second and final studio album by American rock band Go Radio. It was released on September 18, 2012, through record label Fearless Records. Guitarist Alex Reed was located in Philadelphia, while the remainder of Go Radio was in Florida. They sent each other song ideas, before meeting up, and working on the songs for several weeks. In early 2012, the band recorded their next album with producer James Paul Wisner. Described as a pop rock album, Close the Distance was compared to Counting Crows.
Canciones Para Un Paraíso En Vivo is the fourth live album by Spanish singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz. It was recorded in Madrid on July 5, 2010. The album, released in digipack format, contains a CD with a selection of 10 tracks of the concert with one bonus track and a DVD with all 17 live performance. Sanz performed some of his old classic songs like "No Es Lo Mismo", "Corazón Partío" along with a medley and the entire Paraíso Express album except "Pero Esta Tarde No Te Vas" and "Tú No Tienes La Culpa". It also include a duet with Spanish singer-songwriter Joaquín Sabina on Sanz's latest single, "Lola Soledad", as a bonus track.

The theme is sung by American former actress Phoebe Cates and appears on her 1982 album of the same name. It was released as a single and reached number one in Italy. In 2001, American former singer Kaci covered the theme for her first studio album, Paradise (2001), and released it as her debut single the same year. Kaci's version became a hit in the United Kingdom, where it peaked at number 11 on the UK Singles Chart.
