Clubul Sportiv Municipal Jiul Petroșani, commonly known as Jiul Petroșani, simply as Jiul, is a professional football club based in Petroșani, Hunedoara County, founded in 1919 under the name of CAM Petroșani. Valer Săsărman was a Romanian professional footballer who played as a defender.
