Lepono Ndhlovu,also known as Abram Mutyagaba,(born 25 February 1986) is a Ugandan cricketer. [1] He played for Uganda in the 2014 Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament. He played first-class and List A cricket in South Africa,playing in more than 120 matches across both formats from 2005 to 2015. [1] [2]
Stephen Ogonji Tikolo is a former Kenya cricketer,and a former One Day International captain. Widely regarded as the greatest Kenyan cricketer ever,Tikolo has scored the most runs and taken the second most wickets for the team in One Day Internationals. As captain,he led Kenya to the semi-final of the 2003 Cricket World Cup.

Samuel Walusimbi is a former cricketer from Uganda. He played three One Day Internationals (ODI) in the 1975 cricket World Cup,representing the East Africa cricket team. Walusimbi was one of the founding members of the Wanderers Cricket Club,the second-oldest cricket club in Uganda,won the top flight cricket league in Uganda in 1993,and was part of the Nomads cricket team that toured Kenya and Uganda in 2005. In 2007,he was the coach of the Uganda national cricket team and in 2016 he was named the Nile Special-Uganda Sports Press Association Legendary award winner.
The Uganda women's national cricket team represents Uganda in international women's cricket. They played their first matches as part of a triangular series that also involved Kenya and Kenya's A side in January 2006. They played in the African regional qualifiers for the 2009 World Cup in December 2006 against Kenya,Tanzania and Zimbabwe. They finished third in the tournament.

Samuel Ndhlovu was a Zambian footballer and coach. Nicknamed "Zoom",he led the "Mighty" Mufulira Wanderers to unparalleled league and cup triumphs for almost two decades. He was named Zambian Sportsman of the Year in 1964 and also served the national team as captain and coach. He is widely regarded as Zambia's best local coach.

The 2015 ICC Under-19 World Cup Qualifier was an international cricket tournament played in Malaysia from 14 to 22 October 2015,forming part of the 2015–16 international season. The tournament was originally going to be held in Nepal,but was moved to Malaysia due to the April 2015 earthquake. Nepal defeated Ireland in the tournament final to qualify for the 2016 Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh. In January 2016,Australia withdrew their team from the World Cup and Ireland,as runners-up in the qualifier,replaced them.

The 2022 Capricorn Women's Tri-Series was a Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket tournament that was held in Namibia in April 2022. The participating teams were the hosts Namibia,along with Uganda and Zimbabwe. The tournament consisted of a triple round-robin stage followed by a final between the top two teams. The series was the first as head coach of Zimbabwe Women for former international cricketer Gary Brent.
The Kwibuka T20 Tournament is a women's Twenty20 cricket tournament played annually in Rwanda since 2014. The tournament was originally named the Kwibuka Cricket for Peace tournament,and is played in remembrance of the victims of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. Initially the tournament featured exclusively East African nations,but in more recent editions has expanded to include teams from across Africa and beyond.
