Leroy Watson IV (born June 10, 1998) is an American professional football offensive tackle for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). To date he has made over $2,000,000. He played college football at UTSA. [1]
In Watson's career with Hutchinson he caught 12 passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns. [2] Watson decided to transfer to UTSA after the 2018 season to play Division I football. [3] [4]
In the 2020 season, Watson would be named an honorable mention all Conference USA member. [5] [6] In Watson's three-year career with the Roadrunners he hauled in 25 receptions for 297 yards and two touchdowns. [7]

After not being selected in the 2022 NFL draft, Watson signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent. [9] [10] However, during final roster cuts, On August 30, 2022, Watson was waived. [11] [12]
On September 5, 2022, Watson was signed by the San Francisco 49ers to their practice squad. [13] [14] On February 1, 2023, Watson signed a futures deal with the 49ers. [15] On August 29, 2023, Watson was waived by the 49ers during final roster cuts, but one day later he was signed to the practice squad. [16] [17]
On November 2, 2023, Watson was signed by the Cleveland Browns off the 49ers practice squad. [18] Watson started one game and played seven games at right & left tackle for the Browns during the 2023 season. [19]
On April 12, 2024, Watson was traded to the Tennessee Titans for a seventh-round selection (227th overall) of the 2024 NFL draft. [20] [21] He was waived on August 27, and re-signed to the practice squad. [22] [23] On October 9, Watson was signed to the active roster. [24] Watson started four games as the Titans' right tackle during the 2024 season, but missed play later in the year due to a back injury. He was released again on December 10. [25] [26]
On December 27, 2024, Watson signed with the Minnesota Vikings practice squad. [27] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 16, 2025. [28]
