The album contains the "classic" Motörhead line-up of Lemmy Kilmister on bass and vocals, "Fast" Eddie Clarke on lead guitar, and Philthy Animal Taylor on drums. The sleeve artwork featured the debut of Snaggletooth, the War-Pig, the fanged face logo created by artist Joe Petagno that would become an icon of the band.

The band's lineup of guitarists John Benjamin "JB" Brubaker and Brent Rambler, drummer Matt Greiner, lead vocalist Jake Luhrs and bassist Dustin Davidson has remained consistent since 2006. The band was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2016 for Best Metal Performance for the song "Identity" from its 2015 release Found in Far Away Places, and again in 2018 for "Invisible Enemy" from Phantom Anthem (2017). The band has released ten studio albums to date; their latest, Death Below, was released on March 24, 2023.

Jason Suecof is an American record producer and audio engineer best known for his work with heavy metal bands such as Trivium, Battlecross, Death Angel, All That Remains, Bury Your Dead, The Black Dahlia Murder, and The Autumn Offering. In addition, Suecof also has been the guitarist for heavy metal bands Capharnaum and Charred Walls of the Damned.

It is their first release with vocalist Jake Luhrs and bass player Dustin Davidson. It sold 9,000 copies in its first week on sale, and went on to sell over 80,000.

<i>Attack of the Wolf King</i> 2010 studio album by Haste the Day

Attack of the Wolf King is the fifth studio album from Haste the Day. The album was released on June 29, 2010 through Solid State Records. A song from the album, entitled "Travesty" was released on the band's MySpace on May 4. Lyrics for "Travesty" were released on May 21, 2010 on the band's Facebook. The song "Dog Like Vultures" has been played live since early April and debuted April 8 in Evansville, IN. This is the first album to feature new members, Dave Krysl, Giuseppe Capolupo, and Scott Whelan. On the CD's release day, the band played a show in Bloomington, IN, where they performed an extended setlist with all the former members of the band, playing songs from the That They May Know You EP through Attack of the Wolf King. On June 8 the band released the song "Wake Up The Sun" on their Myspace.
