Liam Chad Jacobs (born 3 March 2001) is a South African politician and a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Democratic Alliance (DA). He has also been the leader of the Democratic Alliance Students Organisation (DASO) since October 2022. [1] He was elected to the National Assembly of South Africa for Gauteng in the 2024 South African general election.
Jacobs was born in Kimberley of the Northern Cape. [1] Jacobs holds an honours degree in Philosophy,Politics and Economics from the University of Pretoria. [2]
Jacobs was Students’Organisation Leader for the DA. [3] In the 2024 South African general election,he was 60th on the national party list. [4] He currently serves on the Portfolio Committee on Sports,Arts,and Culture.
Joseph Job McGluwa is a South African politician who was the leader of the Democratic Alliance in the North West province from 2015 to 2020. He has been a member of the National Assembly since 16 August 2018. He was previously in the National Assembly from 2009 to 2015. McGluwa was a member of the North West Provincial Legislature from 2015 to 2018.
Thomas Charles Ravenscroft Walters is a South African politician of the Democratic Alliance (DA) who has been serving as a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament since May 2024. Previously,he served as a Member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature from 2009 to 2014 and then as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa from 2014 until 2024. In 2012,Walters was elected Deputy Federal Council Chairperson of the Democratic Alliance,and has been deputising Federal Council Chairperson Helen Zille since 2019. He deputised James Selfe from 2012 to 2019. Walters was the party's Shadow Minister and Shadow Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform.
Karabo Lerato Khakhau is a South African politician and a Member of the South African National Assembly for the Democratic Alliance since November 2022. Prior to this,she served as a DA Member of the Free State Provincial Legislature from May 2019 until November 2022. Aged 21 years at the time of her election to the Provincial Legislature,she became the youngest ever Member of Provincial Legislature in South Africa. Khakhau is a former President of the Student Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Cape Town (UCT) for the council term 2017/18. In this election she received the highest number of votes amongst all candidates in the institution.

Tsepo Winston Mhlongo is a South African politician. As a member of the Democratic Alliance,he served as a councillor in the City of Johannesburg until the 2014 national election,when he was elected to the National Assembly of South Africa. After that,he was appointed Shadow Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform. Mhlongo became the Shadow Minister of Sport and Recreation in January 2017 before he was selected to be Shadow Minister of Sports,Arts and Culture in June 2019. On 1 December 2023,Mhlongo was expelled from the DA and lost his parliamentary membership. He has since joined ActionSA.
