Liberty High School is a charter school in Globe, Arizona. It was founded in 1996 as the Gila County Transition School and gained its current name in April 2001. As of July 2014 Liberty HS expanded its services to allow for a 7th and 8th grade program.

David Fraser Nolan was an American activist and politician. He was one of the founders of the Libertarian Party of the United States, having hosted the meeting in 1971 at which the Party was founded. Nolan subsequently served the party in a number of roles including National Committee Chair, editor of the party newsletter, Chair of the By-laws Committee, Chair of the Judicial Committee, and Chair of the Platform Committee.
Clint Bolick is a justice of the Arizona Supreme Court. Previously, he served as Vice President of Litigation at the conservative/libertarian Goldwater Institute. He co-founded the libertarian Institute for Justice, where he was the Vice President and Director of Litigation from 1991 until 2004. He led two cases that went before the Supreme Court of the United States. He has also defended state-based school choice programs in the Supreme Courts of Wisconsin and Ohio.

Kym Hampton is a retired professional basketball player. A 6'2" center, Hampton was drafted as the number four pick in the 1997 WNBA Elite draft and played three seasons for the New York Liberty (1997–1999). Following a 12-year professional stint in Europe along with her three years in the WNBA, Hampton retired from basketball in 2000, due to worn cartilage in her right knee.
Westwood High School is a 4-year public high school in the western part of Mesa, Arizona, United States under the jurisdiction of Mesa Public Schools. It was opened in 1962 with Elias Brimhall as the founding principal. In the 1983–84 school year, it was honored as a Blue Ribbon school.
