Liberty High School is a charter school in Globe, Arizona. It was founded in 1996 as the Gila County Transition School and gained its current name in April 2001. As of July 2014 Liberty HS expanded its services to allow for a 7th and 8th grade program.

The school initially opened in 2006 in what is now Fowler Middle School and the following year opened in its own building on Rolater Road. A 6'2" center, Hampton was drafted as the number four pick in the 1997 WNBA Elite draft and played three seasons for the New York Liberty (1997–1999). The L.E.A.P Program is an Extended Day Program that provides a before and after school environment. During L.E.A.P, students are able to communicate and play with fellow students, eat, exercise, draw, do schoolwork, and much more. Services are available for children ages 5–14 or students enrolled from kindergarten to eighth grade.
