Goodyear is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. It is a suburb of Phoenix and at the 2020 census had a population of 95,294, up from 65,275 in 2010 and 18,911 in 2000. It was the third-fastest-growing city in Arizona between 1990 and 2000.

It is a part of the Frisco Independent School District located in east central Collin County, and is currently one of ten high schools in the district. The school initially opened in 2006 in what is now Fowler Middle School and the following year opened in its own building on Rolater Road. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. It has a rivalry with Centennial High School, which the students refer to as the "Rolater Rumble”

A 6'2" center, Hampton was drafted as the number four pick in the 1997 WNBA Elite draft and played three seasons for the New York Liberty (1997–1999). All schools each have their own website and the school district has its own website. Each school in the Liberty district has a L.E.A.P Program. The L.E.A.P Program is an Extended Day Program that provides a before and after school environment. During L.E.A.P, students are able to communicate and play with fellow students, eat, exercise, draw, do schoolwork, and much more. Services are available for children ages 5–14 or students enrolled from kindergarten to eighth grade.
