Lido Tomasi (born 17 November 1955) is an Italian ski jumper. He competed at the 1976 Winter Olympics, the 1980 Winter Olympics and the 1984 Winter Olympics. [1]

The 1984 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XIV Olympic Winter Games and commonly known as Sarajevo '84, were a winter multi-sport event held between 8 and 19 February 1984 in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia. The 1988 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XV Olympic Winter Games, was a winter multi-sport event held in Calgary, Canada, from 13 to 28 February 1988. A total of 1,423 athletes representing 57 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) participated in 46 events from 10 different sports and disciplines. Five new events were contested at these Games—men's and women's Super G in alpine skiing, team events in Nordic combined and ski jumping, and women's 5000 metres in speed skating—and two events returned to the program—men's and women's combined in alpine skiing.

The 1976 Winter Olympic Games cross-country skiing results. The women's 3 × 5 km relay was replaced by a 4 × 5 km relay at these games.

Héctor Julio Tomasi is an Argentine retired bobsledder who competed from the late 1940s to the mid-1960s. Competing in three Winter Olympics, he earned his best finish of eighth in the four-man event at Oslo in 1952. He also finished twelfth in the four-man event as well as 15th in the two-man event at the 1948 Winter Olympics. At the 1964 Winter Olympics he finished 16th in the four-man event and 18th in the two-man event.

Thailand competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia from 7 to 23 February 2014. The Thai team consisted of two athletes, Vanessa Vanakorn and Kanes Sucharitakul, both competing in alpine skiing. This was Thailand's third appearance at a Winter Olympic Games, and their first since 2006, having missed the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
