Life In My City Art Festival (LIMCAF) is an annual visual arts festival held in Nigeria, founded in 2007 by Chief Robert Orji. The festival exhibits work by emerging Nigerian artists in categories including painting, textiles, sculpture, graphic design, and photography. [1]
Each year, over 600 entries from regional centers, including Enugu, Lagos, Abuja, Anambra, Jos, Kaduna, Ibadan, Calabar, Uyo and Port Harcourt are typically submitted. [2]
The festival showcases modern and contemporary art, targeted at youths who submit their artwork for review by a panel of judges. Shortlisted entries participate in regional competitions which eventually culminate into a national competition. The finalists are gifted prizes and the chance to exhibit their work across the 6 regions, and the festival also involves lectures and art workshops for children. [3]
