The Liga Premium de Futsal is the premier professional futsal clubs league in Paraguay. It started in 2015, [1] is organized by the Paraguayan Football Association (APF), the country's governing body of football, and currently consists of 11 teams.
The champions qualify to the Copa Libertadores de Futsal of the next year.

The yearly winners of this league are considered the Paraguayan basketball champions. Because of this, the champion gets the right to play in the Liga Sudamericana de Baloncesto.

UAA is the fútsal club in the sports department at the Universidad Autónoma de Asunción located in Asunción, the capital city of Paraguay and competes in the Asociación Paraguaya de Fútbol's fútsal league. The UAA fields both a Men's and Female's team. The UAA's Men's team has been crowned champion of Paraguay on two occasions, qualifying and participating at the Fútsal Copa Libertadores and defeating traditional teams such as Boca Juniors, River Plate and Peñarol. Club Sport Colonial is a Paraguayan football team based in the barrio Obrero, and its stadium located in barrio Santa Ana, both of them in the city of Asunción. The club was founded on January 18, 1948. They play in the Cuarta División, the fourth and last category of Paraguayan football league system. They play at home at the Don Celestino Mongelós Stadium, which has an approximate capacity of 600 spectators.

The 2024 Copa CONMEBOL Libertadores de Futsal was the 23rd edition of the Copa Libertadores de Futsal, South America's premier club futsal tournament organized by CONMEBOL. The tournament was held in Tortuguitas, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina between 19 and 26 May 2024.
