Liis Koger (born 23 December 1989 in Pärnu) is an Estonian painter and poet based in Tallinn. [1]

Koger graduated from Pärnu Sütevaka High School Of Humanities. She has studied Psychology and Theology at University of Tartu and graduated University of Tartu in 2013 with a BA degree in Painting, Fine Arts. [2]

Paintings

Paintings by Koger are being shown in public spaces like The Parliament Of Estonia in Toompea, Tallinn, and the Institute Of Mathematical Statistics in Tartu. Her works have also been reproduced for different magazines like HESA Inprint in Finland, [3] Akadeemia in Estonia [4] and used in record designs like Ensemble RESONABILIS "North Wind, South Wind" longplayer.

The 2018 Meistriliiga was the 28th season of the Meistriliiga, the highest division of Estonian football system. The season was scheduled to begin on 25 February 2018, but was postponed due to a cold wave. On 3 March, the season began with four out of five second round matches held in indoor arena. This marked the first time Estonian league football was played indoor. The season concluded on 10 November 2018. Flora were the defending champions. Nõmme Kalju won their 2nd Meistriliiga title completing an entire season undefeated.

Tiit Kaljundi was an Estonian architect and a member of the Tallinn School. The majority of the architects in this movement were graduates from the State Art Institute in the early 1970s. This group included Kaljundi, Avo-Himm Looveer, Ain Padrik, Jüri Okas, and Ignar Fjuk, as well as Veljo Kaasik and Toomas Rein from an older generation of architects. Mai Hinge Raud-Pähn is an Estonian-Swedish art historian, editor, and journalist. She was the editor-in-chief of the Swedish-Estonian magazine Rahvuslik Kontakt from 1987 to 2014. Raud-Pähn was honoured with the Order of the White Star from the President of Estonia for her significant contributions to history and art. She turned 100 in 2020.

Mare Mikoff is an Estonian sculptor, best known for her sculptures of Jüri Vilms and Paul Keres in Pärnu, of Karl Menning at the Vanemuine in Tartu, and public sculptures in Nõmme and at the Viru Keskus. She has been the recipient of the Kristjan Raud Art Award in 1984, and was invested with the Order of the White Star in 2011. Influenced by hyperrealism and pop art, her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Estonian Architecture.
