Lip is the fourth studio album by Japanese rock band Sekai no Owari, released on February 27, 2019, by Toy's Factory. It was released simultaneously with the album Eye. The limited first run of the album contains a DVD featuring several of the band's music videos. [1] The band will tour in support of the albums from April 2019. [1] It debuted at number one on the Japanese Oricon Albums Chart on March 6. [2]

Background

The band recorded enough material across the four years from their previous album Tree (2015), so decided to divide the material onto two discs, with Lip featuring the band's "signature pop" songs, and Eye showcasing their "wild side". [1]

The songs "Hey Ho", "Error", "Mr. Heartache", "Rain", "Sasanqua" and "Illumination" were released prior to the album, with music videos accompanying several of the songs. [3]

Promotion

"Illumination" was used as the theme song of the TV Asahi drama Legal V Ex-Lawyer Shoko Takanashi, while "Sasanqua" was used as the broadcast theme song of NHK's coverage of the 2018 Winter Paralympic Games. [4]

<i>All Light</i> 2019 studio album by Astro

All Light is the debut Korean-language studio album by South Korean boy band Astro. It was released on January 16, 2019, through Fantagio Music. The album was released following a hiatus due to internal issues at their label. It debuted atop the Gaon Album Chart and reached the top 10 of the US Billboard World Albums chart.

Chinese boy band and the fourth overall sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT, WayV, has released one studio album, one reissue, four extended plays (EP), one single album, and eleven singles with SM Entertainment's Chinese sub-label, Label V. WayV debuted in 2019 with the single album The Vision, with a Chinese version of NCT 127's "Regular" as the lead single. In the same year, the group entered the Billboard World Albums chart for the first time with their first EP, Take Off. Their second EP, Take Over the Moon, was released on October 29, 2019, and debuted in the South Korean Gaon Album Chart and Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. In 2020, WayV's first studio album, Awaken the World, managed to enter the top ten on both Gaon and Billboard World Albums chart as well as became the group's first entry on the Japanese Oricon and Billboard Japan charts. Eye is the fifth studio album by Japanese rock band Sekai no Owari, released on February 27, 2019, by Toy's Factory. It was released simultaneously with the album Lip. The limited first run of the album contains a DVD with footage from the band's Insomnia Train outdoor concert tour. The band will tour in support of the albums from April 2019. It debuted at number two on the Japanese Oricon Albums Chart on March 6, behind Lip at number one.
