A resident of Worthing, West Sussex, John has been bowling since 1990. Currently ranked number 6 in the UK, John has been a National Team member from 1997 to 2003, but has been out of the National Team for personal reasons and injury.
John was selected to play for England under 18s every year from 1993 to 1999, and was the Junior Nationals champion in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1997 and 1998.
She was voted Most Promising Newcomer to Adult Tournaments in 1997, Junior Bowler of the Year 1997 and 1998 and in 1998 was voted Young Bowler of the Year by National Bowling Magazine.
In the European Youth Championships held in Vienna, Austria, in 1998, John won bronze in the doubles and silver in the team event.
At the World Youth Championships 2000 held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, John was doubles champion and at the World Youth Championships held in Pattaya, Thailand, in 2002, was part of the champion team.
John was 4th in the British Open in 1996, the All Events winner at the BTBA Nationals in 1997, the Highest Placed British Lady in the British Open 1998, the AMF Sheffield Singles Champion 1998 and 1999, the AMF Scott Banks Memorial Ladies Winner 1999 and 2nd in 2000, and took the AMF Wolves Doubles 1st 1999.
At the World Championships held in 1999 in the UAE, she was placed 5th in doubles and 12th in All-Events.
She became the BTBA Nationals Ladies Team Champions 2001, and the Irish Open Champion the same year. At the European Championships held that year in Aalborg, Denmark, she was doubles champion, trios champion, took a team bronze, an individual bronze (based on accumulative score from all events) and set new European records in doubles and trios.
She continued her success by taking the European Cup for Individuals in Moscow, Russia; and being the Highest Placed British Lady, British Open.
She took Bronze in the European Team Cup in 2002 in Essen, Germany; and 4th position at the Sinai International Open [2002 in Cairo, Egypt. The same year, she was AMF Portsmouth Singles Winner 2002, AMF Wellingborough Doubles Winner 2002, 3rd in the British Open, and took European Cup for Individuals at Schiedam, The Netherlands.
She continued her success in 2003, becoming Irish Open runner-up, Scott Banks Memorial trios singles winner, Under 24 British Open champion, Portsmouth Singles winner, and receiving silver at the World Championships in Malaysia.
In 2005, she was BTBA Nationals doubles and team champion.
At the UK Championships in 2006, she was a runner-up; the same year, she was a World Cup qualification winner and World Cup runner-up at Caracas, Venezuela.
In 2007, she was BTBA Nationals doubles & team champion and All-Events runner-up and Jim Brewer Memorial champion 2007. She will be representing England at the Women’s World Championships in Mexico 1 – 8 September 2007.
Rafael "Paeng" Villareal Nepomuceno is a Filipino bowler and coach who is a six time World bowling champion. He is a World Bowling Hall of Famer and is the first and only bowling athlete to be awarded with the prestigious IOC President's Trophy. He was also named International Bowling Athlete of the Millennium by the FIQ in 1999 and was inducted in the Philippine Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.
Diandra Hyman Asbaty is an American bowler who represented Team USA for fifteen years and was United States Amateur Champion in 1999 and 2006. She is also an official youth bowling spokesperson for the United States Bowling Congress (USBC). She competed in the PBA Women's Series from 2007 to 2010, winning two titles in that span. She also won the 2012 USBC Queens major tournament and continues to compete in PWBA tournaments. Asbaty has been elected to the USBC Hall of Fame.
Clara Juliana Guerrero Londoño is a right-handed Colombian ten-pin bowler who has won Colombian championships and multiple international championships. She has been a member of Team Colombia for twenty years, and another half dozen years on Junior Team Colombia. She has one title on the PWBA Tour since the rebirth of the Professional Women's Bowling Association in 2015.

Lynda Barnes is one of the world's leading female tenpin bowlers. She is a former member of the PWBA. Bowling as an amateur, Lynda won the 1998 USBC Queens championship, then known as the WIBC Queens. In 1999, Lynda married Chris Barnes, a leading bowler on the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) tour. The couple's twin sons, Troy and Ryan, were born in May 2002. Lynda is a former member of Team USA.
Mike Mullin, of Congers, NY, is an American ten-pin bowler.
Kim Adler is an American Ten-pin bowling professional who was a member of the Professional Women's Bowling Association (PWBA). The right-hander is considered one of the top female bowling players of all time, competing professionally from 1991–2003 and collecting 15 national PWBA titles, including major tournament wins at the 1996 Hammer LPBT Players Championship, 1997 Sam's Town Invitational and the 1999 U.S. Women's Open. In addition to her PWBA accomplishments, Adler placed first in Classic All-Events at the 2004 USBC Women's Open Championships.
Karen Marcano is a Venezuelan ten-pin bowler. In 2008 she finished first in the Women's World Ranking Masters. In 2009 she won a gold medal at the Pan American Bowling Confederation Championships in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She also won the bronze medal at the masters event of the World Games in 2013 in Colombia.

Shannon O'Keefe is an American professional bowler and bowling coach now living in Jacksonville, Alabama. She has competed in the United States and internationally, and is currently the head coach at Jacksonville State University. She is an 18-time member of Team USA (2005–2022) and an eight-time World Champion. She also won the 54th QubicaAMF World Cup in 2018 in Las Vegas. Shannon also won the 2019 Doubles gold medal at the Pan American Games in Peru.
Ann-Maree Putney of New South Wales is a female Australian two-time World Champion ten-pin bowler. In 2009, she was elected to the World Bowling Writers International Bowling Hall of Fame. She competed for Australia for 26 years, winning a total of 30 medals in international competitions such as the World, Asian, and Commonwealth Championships. In 2019, she was inducted into the Tenpin Bowling Australia (TBA) Hall of Fame as well as the Hunter Region Sporting Hall of Fame. Her career spanned 34 years.

Shannon Pluhowsky is an American left-handed ten-pin bowler who competes in the Professional Women's Bowling Association (PWBA) and internationally. Pluhowsky is a 22-time member of Team USA, and a former four-time member of Junior Team USA (2000–2003). Pluhowsky has eight professional championships, including major wins at the 2006 USBC Queens in Reno, Nevada, the 2014 BPAA Women's All-Star in Rockford, Illinois, and the 2021 PWBA Tour Championship in Reno, Nevada.
Verity Crawley is an English professional bowler who competes on the Professional Women's Bowling Association (PWBA) Tour in the United States. In 2012 Crawley moved from England to Babson Park, Florida to join the bowling program at Webber International University. In 2017, she began competing professionally on the PWBA Tour.

She won the AMF Bowling World Cup in 1996 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and voted Bowler of the Year by the World Bowling Writers the same year.
