Leah Simone Martindale-Stancil is a Barbadian former competition swimmer who specialized in sprint freestyle and butterfly events. Martindale represented Barbados in two editions of the Olympic Games, where she became the first black female in history to reach an Olympic swimming final in the 50 m freestyle. She also holds three Barbadian records in a sprint freestyle double and in the 50 m butterfly, and twelve All-American honors, while attending the University of Florida.
Siobhan Trichelle Cropper is a 2-time Olympian and swimmer from Trinidad and Tobago, who specialized in sprint freestyle and butterfly events. Cropper represented Trinidad and Tobago in two editions of the Olympic Games, and eventually captured the 100 m butterfly title at the 1998 Central American and Caribbean Games in Maracaibo, Venezuela. She also holds three Trinidadian records in a sprint freestyle and butterfly double, two NCAA championship titles and fourteen All-American honors, while attending Stanford University.
Monique Rachelle Robins is a New Zealand former swimmer, who specialised in sprint freestyle and backstroke events. She represented New Zealand, as the youngest swimmer of the team, at the 2000 Summer Olympics, and also formerly played for Takapuna Swim Club under her personal coach and mentor Brett Naylor.

Orsolya "Orsi" Ferenczy is a Hungarian former swimmer, who specialized in butterfly events. She captured a bronze medal from the European Junior Championships, and later represented Hungary, as a 16-year-old, at the 2000 Summer Olympics. Ferenczy also held a national record in the 100 m butterfly (1:00.37), until it was later broken by Beatrix Boulsevicz in 2003.
Zampia Melachroinou is a Greek former swimmer, who specialized in freestyle and butterfly events. She represented Greece at the 2000 Summer Olympics, and later collected a total of three medals at the Mediterranean Games. During her sporting career, Melachroinou trained for Aris Nikaias Swim Club under head coach Antonis Pitidis.
Lee Bo-Eun is a South Korean former swimmer, who specialized in freestyle and butterfly events. She represented South Korea in two editions of the Olympic Games, and also earned bronze medals in the medley relay at the Asian Games.
Mariya Ohurtsova is a Ukrainian former swimmer, who specialized in sprint butterfly events. She represented Ukraine, as a 17-year-old, at the 2000 Summer Olympics, and also trained for the Ukraïna Zaporizhzhia swim team during her sporting career.

While residing in the United States on her college career, she helped the California Golden Bears set a new world record (1:49.23) and capture the 4×50 m medley title at the 2000 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. Minpraphal is among the Asian swimmers, along with Joscelin Yeo of Singapore and Akiko Thomson of the Philippines, to train for the Bears under women's head coach Teri McKeever.
Eydis Konráðsdóttir is an Icelandic former swimmer, who specialized in sprint butterfly events. She represented Iceland in two editions of the Olympic Games, and also held an Icelandic record in the 100 m butterfly until it was later broken by Kolbrún Yr Kristjánsdóttir and Sarah Blake Bateman within the 2000s decade. Konradsdottir is a medicine undergraduate at the University of New South Wales, and also married to Australia's medley swimmer and three-time Olympian Matthew Dunn.
Hsieh Shu-ting is a Taiwanese former swimmer, who specialized in freestyle and butterfly events. She represented Chinese Taipei in two editions of the Olympic Games, and later captured a bronze medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay (8:18.92) at the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand.
Flora Kong Yan Kay is a Hong Kong former swimmer, who specialized in butterfly events. She represented Hong Kong, as a 15-year-old, at the 2000 Summer Olympics, and later became a finalist in the 200 m butterfly at the 2002 Asian Games.
Ayşe Diker is a Turkish former swimmer, who specialized in butterfly events. She represented Turkey, as a 16-year-old, at the 2000 Summer Olympics, and held a total of 25 Turkish records in swimming, including the 200 m butterfly. An active member of Galatasaray Spor Kulübü in her sporting career, Diker also trained for the St. Bonaventure Bonnies swimming and diving team, under head coach Lance Brennan, from 2003 to 2007.
Melanie Dodd is an Australian former swimmer who specialized in sprint freestyle events. She represented the host nation Australia, as a 27-year-old, at the 2000 Summer Olympics, and also trained for the Australian Institute of Sport, under Russian-based swim coach Gennadi Touretski. She won two medals, a silver and bronze, in the 4×100-metre freestyle relay at the 1995 FINA Short Course World Championships in Rio de Janeiro, and 1999 FINA Short Course World Championships in Hong Kong.
