This is an incomplete record of the rugby players who have represented the New Zealand rugby league team, Auckland Vulcans, in the NSW Cup. In 2007 the team was known as the Auckland Lions and competed in the NSWRL Premier League.
This list does not include Bartercard Cup caps.
Since 2007 four players have played for the Vulcans and the Junior Warriors and then gone on to make their National Rugby League debut with the New Zealand Warriors. They are Russell Packer, Daniel O'Regan, Sonny Fai and Leeson Ah Mau. [1]
In addition to this Ukuma Ta'ai, Malo Solomona, Aidan Kirk and Corey Lawrie have all played for the Vulcans and then made their first grade debut for the Warriors.

Stacey William Jones, ONZM is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer, who has been named amongst the greatest New Zealand has ever produced. He played as a halfback, but he has also briefly played at five-eighth during his distinguished career, which includes 46 Tests for New Zealand (1995–2006). Stacey Jones is the first and only life member of the New Zealand Warriors club whose records for most appearances, tries and points he held at the time of his retirement.
Jerome Ropati is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who played his entire career for the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL. Ropati also represented New Zealand, and was a member of the World Cup-winning team in 2008. He played as a centre, and occasionally as a fullback and five-eighth.
Vincent "Vinny" Mellars is a New Zealand rugby league and rugby union footballer who plays in the Centres. He has previously played in the NRL, Super League and Air New Zealand Cup and in the RFL Championship for Featherstone Rovers.
The Auckland Rugby League (ARL) is the governing body for the sport of rugby league in the Auckland Region of New Zealand. It is responsible for rugby league in the region, including both club and school rugby league. It began in 1910 when the first season of club league in Auckland occurred. The first match was a practice game between Newton Rangers and Ponsonby United at Victoria Park which Ponsonby won 17 to 15. The first full club season was in 1910.
The Auckland Vulcans were an Auckland based rugby league club that participated in the New South Wales Cup. They were administered by the Rugby League Development Foundation. The team was selected from the Auckland Rugby League's Fox Memorial Competition and also used New Zealand Warriors squad members not selected for NRL duty. In 2007 the team was known as the Auckland Lions. In 2011 the Vulcans made their first appearance in a grand final, eventually going down to the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs. They were replaced in the NSW Cup in 2014 by the New Zealand Warriors, who submitted their own team.
Epalahame Lauaki is a Tongan former professional rugby league footballer who last played for the Bradford Bulls in the Championship.
Daniel O'Regan is a New Zealand rugby league player who last played for the New Zealand Warriors in the National Rugby League competition. His position of choice is at five-eighth. He is the nephew of former Kiwi Ron O'Regan.
Isaac John is a former professional rugby league footballer who previously played for the Mount Pritchard Mounties in the Intrust Super Premiership. A Cook Islands and New Zealand international representative, he played as a five-eighth and halfback and previously played for the New Zealand Warriors and Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League, and the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in the Super League.
Willie Swann is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer and coach of Samoan heritage. He currently coaches the Auckland Vulcans in the New South Wales Cup. He is a former Samoa international and vice-captain. He also played for the Warrington Wolves, Leigh Centurions and the Auckland Warriors.
Liam Foran, also known by the nickname of "Fozza", is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who has played for the Cessnock Goannas in the Newcastle Rugby League Competition in Newcastle, Australia, as a five-eighth or halfback. He is the brother of NRL player Kieran Foran.
Ukuma Ta'ai is a Tongan professional rugby league footballer who plays as a second-row, loose forward or prop for the Newcastle Thunder in the Betfred Championship and Tonga at international level.
The 2009 New Zealand Warriors season was the 15th in the club's history. They competed in the NRL's 2009 Telstra Premiership and finished 14th. The coach of the Warriors was Ivan Cleary while Steve Price was the team's captain. In 2009 Warriors games were broadcast on New Zealand's Sky network averaged 107,163 viewers.
The New Zealand Warriors 2010 season was the New Zealand Warriors 16th first-grade season. The club competed in Australasia's National Rugby League and finished fifth in regular season before being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. The coach of the team was Ivan Cleary while Simon Mannering was the club's captain. The Warriors won the club championship award for having the best combined results between the first grade team and the under-20s. The Junior Warriors then went on to win the Toyota Cup grand final, the club's first grand final win in sixteen years.
Mataupu Poching is a professional rugby league footballer who currently plays for in NSW Cup. He has previously played in the National Rugby League for the New Zealand Warriors and the AS Carcassonne in the French Elite One Championship.
Pita Godinet is a Samoa international rugby league footballer who plays as a hooker for the Atlanta Rhinos in the North American Rugby League.
The New Zealand Warriors 2011 season was the New Zealand Warriors 17th first-grade season. The club competed in Australasia's National Rugby League. The coach of the team is Ivan Cleary while Simon Mannering is the club's captain. The Warriors lost to the Manly Sea Eagles 10-24 in the 2011 NRL Grand Final. The Junior Warriors won the Toyota Cup for the second consecutive year while the Auckland Vulcans finished second in the NSW Cup.
The New Zealand Warriors 2012 season is the New Zealand Warriors 18th first-grade season. The club is competing in Australasia's National Rugby League. The coach of the team was Brian McClennan, until he was sacked on 21 August after Round 22, while Simon Mannering is the club's captain. Assistant Coach Tony Iro was appointed caretaker coach for the final two matches.
Samiuela "Sam" Lousi is a Tongan professional rugby footballer. He currently plays rugby union for the Scarlets after earlier being with the Hurricanes and the New South Wales Waratahs in Super Rugby. He has been capped for the Tonga national team. He previously played rugby league for the New Zealand Warriors. His usual playing position is Prop.
James Gavet is a Samoa international rugby league footballer who last played as a prop for the Huddersfield Giants in the Super League.
Suaia Matagi, also known by the nickname of "Sui", is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a prop for the Castleford Tigers in the Betfred Super League, on a season long loan from the Huddersfield Giants. He is both a New Zealand and Samoan international.
