The Baku Puppet Theatre is located on Neftchiler Avenue of Baku. It was built in 1910 by Polish architect Józef Płoszko, initially as the French Renaissance "Phenomenon" movie theater.
The architecture of Baku is not characterized by any particular architectural style, having accumulated its buildings over a long period of time.
Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque is a mosque located in the city of Shusha, Azerbaijan, in the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh. The mosque also bears the name Boyuk Juma of Govhar Agha.
Haji Alakbar Mosque was an Azerbaijani mosque located in Fuzuli, Azerbaijan. The mosque is also spelt as Haji Alekber Mosque. The Haji Alakbar mosque was constructed in 1890 by the renowned architect of the time Karbalayi Safikhan Karabakhi who also built Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque and Ashaghi Govhar Agha Mosque in Shusha, Aghdam Mosque in Aghdam, mosques in Horadiz and Qocahmadli villages, Tatar mosque in Odesa, Ukraine, and Qababaghlilar Mosque in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. This monument of Islamic architecture is among 300 religious monuments of Karabakh and is famous for its structure along with Qiyas ad Din Mosque, also located in Fuzuli. Fuzuli, along with the Haji Alakbar Mosque was occupied by Armenian forces in 1993, and its condition was unknown during the occupation. However, after the recapture of the city by Azerbaijan, it was found to be destroyed.
Karbalayi Safikhan Karabakhi was an Azerbaijani architect and one of the representatives of Karabakh architecture schools. Buildings by Kerbalai Sefikhan Karabagi included traditional and romantic elements. Designs of Karabagi, such as those for mosques in Aghdam and Barda, employ simple devices based on Azerbaijani architectural traditions.
The Al-Salam Mosque and Arabian Cultural Center are located in Odesa, Ukraine. The cultural center and mosque were opened in June 2001.
Mikayil Alesger oglu Huseynov was a Soviet Azerbaijani architect and historian of architecture. He was People’s Architect of the USSR (1970), Professor (1939); Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1945), full member of the Academy of Architecture of the USSR (1985), Hero of Socialist Labour (1985), laureate of the Second Class State Stalin Prize (1941), member of England’s and Ireland's Royal Society of Asians.

The Ajdarbey Mosque is a historic mosque in Baku, Azerbaijan. It was built from 2 March 1912 to 3 December 1913 and is located on Samed Vurgun Street, formerly Krasnovodskaya Street, north of the city center.
Qasymbek or Kasymbek, also written as Kassymbek is a Turkic masculine given name which is common in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. It is related to the Azerbaijani name Qasım bəy. The name derives from Arabic as Qasim, meaning dividing or distributing and Bek which is a Turkic title for tribal chief, making the name's literal meaning as a "dividing ruler".
Imamzadeh Mausoleum is a monument which consists of a mausoleum and mosque, located in the center of Barda. The monument, which was the only 4 minarets built in Azerbaijan in the 14th century, was in the form of a pilgrimage-mausoleum, according to academician Dorn. A mosque was built around it in the 18th century.
Shahbulag Mosque is a historical and architectural monument located in the area called Shahbulag in the Agdam region of Azerbaijan. The mosque was built by order of Panah Ali Khan in 1751–1752.

Alexander Dubov was a builder and architect who worked in Baku from 1904 until the end of his life where he participated in the construction of a number of monumental buildings in the city. He was also engaged in the restoration of some houses, in particular, in 1922-1923, the Ismailiyya Palace, burned down during the March Days of 1918.

Shirin Su bathhouse or the Bathhouse of the Fresh Water is a historical monument located in the city of Shusha. It was built in 1878–1880 at the order of Khurshidbanu Natavan by the architect of Kerbelayi Sefikhan Garabaghy. On 2 August 2001, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, by the Resolution No. 32, registered it as a historical monument of a republican significance.
