Hot Rock & Alternative Songs is a record chart published by Billboard magazine. From its debut on June 20, 2009, through October 13, 2012, the chart ranked the airplay of songs across alternative, mainstream rock, and triple A radio stations in the United States. Beginning with the chart dated October 20, 2012, the chart has followed the methodology of the Billboard Hot 100 by incorporating digital download sales, streaming data, and radio airplay of rock songs over all formats. From that time until mid-2020, only the performance of core rock songs, including those with an "alternative bent", were tabulated and ranked for the chart. With the chart dated June 13, 2020, Billboard revamped the chart to permit a broader selection of songs considered alternative "hybrids" with other genres and renamed it to Hot Rock & Alternative Songs.
South Korean boy group Seventeen has released four studio albums, three reissues, one compilation album, 12 extended plays, and 21 singles. Since debut, Seventeen has sold a total of 19 million copies with all of their albums, becoming the second act in South Korea to surpass that milestone.
South Korean four-member girl group Mamamoo have released three studio albums, one compilation album, twelve extended plays, 26 singles, and 17 promotional singles since their debut under RBW in June 2014. As of February 2021, the group has sold nearly 1.2 million albums worldwide.
South Korea-based boy group Astro have released three studio albums, ten extended plays, two single albums, and 14 singles.
The discography of South Korean girl group Loona consists of one reissue, five extended plays (EPs), and twelve single albums. From October 2016 to March 2018, the group's label, Blockberry Creative, released individual single albums for each Loona member as part of an 18-month pre-debut project. The pre-debut project eventually culminated in the release of "Favorite" on August 7, 2018, marking the group's first 12-member release. The single later appeared on [ + + ], which was released on August 20 with the single, "Hi High". The EP peaked at number two on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart and was later reissued as [X X] on February 19, 2019, with the lead single "Butterfly". The reissue reached number four on the Gaon Album Chart, while the single marked Loona's first appearance on one of Gaon's singles charts, reaching number 90 on the Download Chart.
South Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together, also known as TXT, has released three studio albums, one reissue, six extended plays, 22 singles—including six soundtrack appearances—and 32 music videos. As of November 2021, the group has sold over 3.3 million albums domestically and is the 10th best-selling Korean act in Gaon Chart history within the last ten years.
