The highest-selling albums and mini-albums in Japan are ranked in the Oricon Weekly Chart, published by Oricon Style magazine. [1] The data is compiled by Oricon based on each album's weekly physical sales. [2] In 2010, 42 albums reached number-one.

Pop singer-songwriter Hideaki Tokunaga's Vocalist 4 had the longest chart run of 2010. The album remained at the top of the charts from its issue date of April 20 to May 24.

The best-selling album overall of 2010 was idol group Arashi's Boku no Miteiru Fūkei , released in mid-2010, which sold 1,053,064 copies. The second-best-selling album was Ikimono-gakari's Ikimonobakari: Members Best Selection , which sold 906.756 copies, followed by J-pop singer Kana Nishino's To Love , with 645,417 copies albums sold. The fourth- and fifth-best-selling albums were Funky Monkey Babys Best and Sense by Funky Monkey Babys and Mr. Children respectively. Funky Monkey Babys Best sold 613,603 copies, while Sense sold 597,212 copies.

1830m is the second album by the Japanese female idol group AKB48. It is a double-album release and was released in Japan on August 15, 2012 by King Records. It sold 1,051,000 copies.

<i>Japonism</i> (album) 2015 studio album by Arashi

Japonism is the fourteenth studio album of the Japanese idol group Arashi. The album was released on October 21, 2015 under their record label J Storm in three editions: a first press/limited edition, a Yoitoko limited edition, and a regular edition. The first press edition comes with an 84-page photo lyrics booklet and bonus DVD with the music video and making-of for the album's lead track, "Kokoro no Sora". The Yoitoko limited edition comes with a 32-page lyrics booklet, and the regular edition comes with a 36-page lyrics booklet. The album sold over 820,000 copies in its first week and topped the Oricon charts for two consecutive weeks. With more than 1,000,000 copies sold, the album was certified for Million by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). On December 23, 2015, Oricon ranked Japonism as the best-selling album of 2015 in Japan. On February 27, 2016, Japonism was awarded Album of the Year in the 2016 Japan Gold Disc Awards.

"Mugen Climax / Ai wa Marude Seidenki / Singing!" (夢幻クライマックス／愛はまるで静電気／Singing～あの頃のように～) is the 30th single by the Japanese female idol group Cute. It was released in Japan on November 2, 2016, on the Zetima label.

"Sonna Koto Nai yo" is the 4th single by Japanese idol group Hinatazaka46. It was released on February 19, 2020 through Sony Music Entertainment Japan. The title track featured Nao Kosaka as center, marking her fourth consecutive appearance at this position. The members competed against each other in a Daifugō tournament for the CD's bonus content.
