List of Cobra video games

There are several video games based on Buichi Terasawa's manga series Cobra . The games have been released on home and handheld consoles, as well as on personal computers, mobile phones and pachinko. The first games to be released from the Cobra series were Space Cobra Professional and The Psychogun, which were published in 1982, and the latest release is Cobra the Drum, which was released in 2014. Amidst the several games released—most of them are Japan-exclusive products—Cobra and Cobra II were developed by French company Loriciels while The Space Adventure is the only Japanese game published in North America and Europe. An upcoming Space Adventure Cobra game is expected to be released on 2025 on a worldwide basis.

<i>Cobra</i> (manga) Japanese manga series by Buichi Terasawa

Cobra is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Buichi Terasawa. Set in the far future, the series tells the story of Cobra, who lives an adventurous life until his enemies begin to hunt him down. Cobra surgically alters his face and erases his own memory to hide from his foes and have a normal life. Eventually, he regains his memories and reunites with his former partner Lady Armaroid. Terasawa devised it as a mix of Spaghetti Western and samurai stories, and aspects of films, varying from James Bond to Disney.

Pack-In-Video Co., Ltd. was a Japanese video game publisher and video distributor. The games published were mostly focused on the Japanese market although a few titles have been published abroad. In October 1996, the company was merged with the video game division of Victor Entertainment and became Victor Interactive Software.

Kazuo Oga is an art director and background artist for many Madhouse Studio and Studio Ghibli anime films. Oga has worked with major directors Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata, Yoshiaki Kawajiri, Osamu Dezaki. He also published two artbooks and directed a short animated film.

<i>The Space Adventure</i> (video game) 1991 video game

The Space Adventure – Cobra: The Legendary Bandit, also known simply as The Space Adventure, is an adventure game released for the PC Engine CD-ROM² System in 1991 in Japan and for the Sega CD in 1995 in North America and Europe. It is the sequel to a Japan only game titled Cobra: Kokuryuuou no Densetsu released for the PC Engine CD in 1989, both being based on the manga and anime series Cobra by Buichi Terasawa. The game was developed and published by Hudson Soft and was one of the last games to be published for the Sega CD in both North America and Europe. The format of the game is similar to Snatcher while the plot is based on one of Cobra's early adventures.

Kenichi Endō is a Japanese actor and writer. He also worked as a narrator for many documentaries, both on television and film. He is best known for his roles in Visitor Q (2001), Crows Zero (2007), Crows Zero 2 (2009), and The Raid 2: Berandal (2014). He is also known for his yakuza roles, such as Joji Yazaki, the head of Soshu Family Syndicate and the main antagonist of Crows Zero and Crows Zero 2, and Hideaki Goto, the head of the Goto family, a powerful yakuza family from Japan and one of two mob bosses that control Jakarta in The Raid 2: Berandal.

A 12-episode anime television series adaptation by Diomedéa aired between January 11 and March 29, 2015. A manga adaptation was serializaed in Kadokawa Shoten's seinen manga magazine Comp Ace from June 2014 to February 2016 and was collected into four volumes. A game adaptation by the Japanese company ASOBIMO has also been released.

Kanako Tōjō is a Japanese voice actress from Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. She voiced Karin in Naruto: Shippuden and Ivy Valentine in Soulcalibur.

Rapid Angel is an anime beat 'em up by Techno Soleil for the PlayStation. It was released in Japan on August 13, 1998. The player plays as three delivery girls who must manage to defeat enemies and deliver goods within a time limit.

Rui Tanabe is a Japanese voice actress. Her voice is featured in several anime series, including as Cecil in Wizard Barristers: Benmashi Cecil, Nanana in Nanana's Buried Treasure, and Yu Shuu in Soul Buster. Vitamin is a series of otome games developed by HuneX and published by D3 Publisher for PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation Vita. The first title, VitaminX, was released on March 29, 2007 for PlayStation 2.

B's LOG is a Japanese gaming magazine, published in both print and digital formats, by Kadokawa Game Linkage, aimed at the female market. Games covered in this publication typically fall into the otome and BL genres. According to parent company Kadokawa, it has a circulation of 90,000; its readerbase is 99% female with an average age of 22.

Kaoru Hasegawa is a Japanese game artist and part of Spike Chunsoft's affiliation. Since 1994, he contributes to the company, with the Mystery Dungeon franchise as the main character designer for the Shiren the Wanderer series since its first title in 1995, and as an artist for other video game titles.
