First Wave is a Canadian science fiction drama television series created by Chris Brancato, with Francis Ford Coppola as the show's executive producer. It originally aired on the Space Channel. Filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the series focuses on the struggles of Cade Foster (Sebastian Spence) who almost single-handedly attempts to resist a secret alien invasion. The show was subsequently picked up by the Sci-Fi Channel in the United States [1] which then, in an unusual move, expanded their pickup of the series to a 66-episode order. [2] It premiered on September 9, 1998, and ended on February 7, 2001, with a total of 66 episodes over the course of 3 seasons.

Cade takes Eddie with him, as he thinks Eddie's scientific expertise could be needed. Eddie has also runs some checks on the doctors there, one was possibly human but the other could well be a Gua. Tensions with Eddie didn't make Omar any more happy to be on board, but he sticks with them. The doctor they thought was human turns out to be Gua and it looks like Cade will may have to take on the Gua super warrior himself.

In an unusual move, the Sci-Fi Channel, which picked up the show in late 1998, later expanded their pickup of the series to a 66-episode order. The show was subsequently cancelled once the 66-episode order was filled at the end of the third season due to disappointing ratings.

Dr. Radek Zelenka is a fictional character of a scientist in the 2004 television series Stargate Atlantis, portrayed by David Nykl. He is a member of the original expedition from Earth to the Ancient city of Atlantis in the Pegasus galaxy, which he joined after turning down a job at Masaryk University in his home country Czech Republic. His expertise on Ancient technology is only surpassed by Dr. Rodney McKay, with whom he shares a friendly rivalry. Zelenka's planned one-time appearance in the season 1 episode "Thirty-Eight Minutes" was followed by a recurring role for expository scenes with McKay and the leader of the expedition. Night Stalker is a television series that ran for six weeks in 2005 on ABC in the United States. The series starred Stuart Townsend as Carl Kolchak, an investigative reporter whose wife was murdered. Kolchak spends his time investigating other strange murders, believing they are linked in some way to his wife's murder. He is helped along the way by a fellow crime reporter Perri Reed, photographer Jain McManus and editor Anthony Vincenzo.

Welcome to Paradox was a Canadian science fiction television series aired on the Sci Fi Channel in the U.S. and subsequently on Showcase in Canada. It was first broadcast on August 17, 1998, ran for one season, with the final episode being released November 9, 1998. As this was part of a crop of new shows produced in 1998 by Sci Fi Channel and it was not successful beyond the first season, it was never placed in syndication. Betaville was the original title for the series.

Battlestar Galactica (BSG) is an American military science fiction television series, and part of the Battlestar Galactica franchise. The show was developed by Ronald D. Moore and executive produced by Moore and David Eick as a re-imagining of the 1978 Battlestar Galactica television series created by Glen A. Larson. The pilot for the series first aired as a three-hour miniseries in December 2003 on the Sci-Fi Channel, which was then followed by four regular seasons, ending its run on March 20, 2009. It was originally scheduled to run in six parts, but two episodes were removed from the schedule for undisclosed reasons. All six episodes can be streamed for free on Tubi and The Roku Channel, and purchased for viewing at Amazon Prime Video and Vudu.
