The official German airplay chart ranks the most frequently broadcast songs on German radio stations. In 2013, 17 different songs reached the top, based on weekly airplay data compiled by MusicTrace on behalf of Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI). [1] The radio stations are chosen based on the reach of each station. A specific number of evaluated stations is not given. [2]

"Alane" is a song recorded by Cameroonian artist Wes. It was released in May 1997 via various labels as the debut single from the artist's first album, Welenga (1996). The song became a hit across Europe, topping the charts in Austria, Belgium, France and the Netherlands. It is sung in the Duala language of Cameroon though the Tony Moran remix includes English lyrics.
Michael Patrick Kelly is an Irish-American singer, musician and composer. Kelly was born in Dublin. He was a member of the pop and folk band The Kelly Family, one of the most commercially successful acts in Europe, with over 20 million records sold since the mid-1990s. After years in the public eye, Kelly released his debut solo album In Exile and shortly thereafter retired to a monastery in France. After six years he returned to the music business in 2011.
"If I Were Sorry" is a song by Swedish singer Frans Jeppsson Wall. The song was released in Sweden as a digital download on 28 February 2016, and was written by Frans along with Fredrik Andersson, Michael Saxell and Oscar Fogelström. It took part in Melodifestivalen 2016, and qualified to the final from the fourth heat. It later won the final with 156 points, thus earning the right to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, where it placed fifth. In the weeks after its Melodifestivalen heat appearance, the song charted in the Spotify Viral charts in Switzerland, Taiwan, Iceland, Uruguay, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Spain, the United States, Norway, France, Denmark, Turkey and Germany.
"Power Over Me" is a song by Irish singer-songwriter and musician Dermot Kennedy. It was released as a single on 16 October 2018 as the second single from his debut studio album Without Fear. "Stack It Up" is a song by British singer Liam Payne featuring American rapper A Boogie wit da Hoodie, released on 18 September 2019 as the fifth single off Payne's debut studio album LP1. It was co-written by Ed Sheeran and produced by Steve Mac. It is Payne's first release as a solo lead artist since 2018's "First Time". Some radio stations played the no rap version of the song.

By November 2022, the song had reached the Billboard Hot 100 top 10, and had been streamed 397 million times on Spotify. In September 2022, the song topped the Canadian Hot 100. It was the most popular song of 2022 on TikTok in the UK.
"Bad Memories" is a song by Italian production trio Meduza and British record producer James Carter, featuring American singer Elley Duhé and German duo Fast Boy. It was made available for digital download and streaming by Island Records and Universal Music Group on 22 July 2022; on the same date, the latter label also sent the song to Italian radio stations.
