The Indian National Open Athletics Championships is an annual outdoor track and field competition, organised by the Athletics Federation of India, which serves as the national championship for the sport in India. It was first held as a national championship in 1961. The 1994 championship was an international event, as foreign athletes were invited to participate as part of the opening of the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. [1]

Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, also known as the Akademi Puraskar, is an award given by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, India's National Academy of Music, Dance & Drama.
