Politicians and government officials

Ali Haidar Zahalka – former Mayor of Nazareth, former head of arab Misrad Hinouch in Israel, first delegate of Israel to the United Nations of Arab descent and of whom current israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu was an observer for at the UN, one of the first creators of the Balad party of the Knesset, and one of the first creators of the Israeli scouts.
Abdullah Nimar Darwish – the founder of the Islamic Movement in Israel.
Hussein Faris – former politician who served as a member of the Knesset for Mapam and Meretz between 1988 and 1992.
Masud Ghnaim – politician who currently serves as a member of the Knesset for the United Arab List.
Hussniya Jabara – former politician who served as a member of the Knesset for Meretz between 1999 and 2003. She was the first Israeli Arab woman to become a Knesset member.
Hamad Khalaily – former politician who served as a member of the Knesset for the Alignment from 1981 until 1984.
Raleb Majadele – member of the Knesset for the Labor Party. Majadele became the country's first Muslim minister when appointed Minister without Portfolio on 28 January 2007.
Nawaf Massalha – first Muslim Arab to hold a ministerial position in the Israeli government when he was appointed Deputy Minister of Health by Yitzhak Rabin in 1992.
Taleb el-Sana – Israeli Bedouin politician and lawyer. He was the longest serving Arab Member of the Knesset until he lost his seat in 2013 ^[3]^{[ circular reference ]} Arab Member of the Knesset.
Ibrahim Sarsur – politician and member of the Knesset for the United Arab List, of which he is the party leader.
Wasil Taha – politician and member of the Knesset for the Israeli Arab party, Balad.
Ali Yahya – diplomat. Yahya became the first Israeli ambassador of Arab descent in 1995 when he was appointed ambassador to Finland, a post in which he served until 1999. In 2006 Yahya was appointed Israeli ambassador to Greece.
Abdel Rahman Zuabi – judge. Zuabi served on the Israeli Supreme Court for nine months in 1999, making him the first Israeli Arab on the country's highest court.
Jamal Zahalka – Israeli Arab politician who serves as a member of the Knesset representing the Balad party. He is also a Balad party leader.
Ahmad Tibi – politician and leader of the Arab party Ta'al (the Arab Movement for Renewal). He currently serves as Deputy Speaker of the Knesset.^[4]
Abd el-Aziz el-Zoubi (1926–1974) – politician of Arabic descent, first non-Jewish member of the Knesset.
Seif el-Din el-Zoubi (1913–1986) – politician, elected to the Knesset in 1949, resigned from politics in 1984.
Haneen Zoabi – politician. In 2009 she became first Israeli Arab woman on an Arab party's list to be elected to the Knesset.

Hatem Abd Elhamed (born 1991) - professional and Team Israel footballer

Abbas Suan (born 1976) - footballer from Sakhnin in the Galilee. As a footballer he was considered by many as one of the best Arab-Israeli players.

Raleb Majadele is an Israeli Arab politician. He served as a member of the Knesset for the Labor Party in three spells between 2004 and 2015, and became the country's first Muslim minister when appointed Minister without Portfolio on 28 January 2007. Between March 2007 - March 2009 he served as Minister of Science, Culture and Sport, the first Muslim minister in Israeli history.

Abbas Zakour is an Israeli Arab politician and a former member of the Knesset for the United Arab List.

Abd el-Aziz el-Zoubi was an Israeli Arab politician who served as a member of the Knesset for Mapam and the Alignment from 1965 until his death in 1974. When appointed Deputy Minister of Health on 24 May 1971, he became the first non-Jewish member of an Israeli government.

Ibtisam Mara'ana-Menuhin is an Israeli Arab politician, film director, and producer. She was a member of the Knesset for the Labor Party from 2021 to 2022. Upon her election, she made history in the first Knesset member in a mixed Jewish-Muslim relationship. Mara'ana was not reelected in the 2022 election.

Taleb Abu Arar is a Bedouin Israeli-Arab politician who previously served as a member of the Knesset for the United Arab List.

Haneen Zoabi, is a Palestinian-Israeli politician. The first Arab woman to be elected to the legislature on an Arab party's list, she served as a member of the Knesset for the Balad party between 2009 and 2019. In 2021, she was convicted of forgery and fraud after pleading guilty.

The United Arab List, commonly known by its Hebrew acronym Ra'am, is an Islamist and conservative political party in Israel and the political wing of the Southern Branch of the Islamic movement. It was part of the Joint List but left the alliance on 28 January 2021. In 2021 it formally joined a coalition of parties forming the thirty-sixth government. It is currently led by Mansour Abbas.

Jamal Zahalka is an Israeli Arab politician. He served as a member of the Knesset for Balad between 2003 and 2019, and was leader of the party between 2007 and 2019.

Balad is an Arab political party in Israel led by Sami Abu Shehadeh. The party advocates for the rights of Arab citizens in Israel.

Ayman Odeh is an Israeli Arab lawyer and politician. He is a member of Knesset and leader of the Hadash party.

The Joint List was a political alliance of four of the Arab-majority political parties in Israel: Hadash, Balad, Ra'am and Ta'al. Ra'am left the alliance on 28 January 2021. With Balad wanting to leave the coalition, it was subsequently dissolved in 2022.

Juma Azbarga is a Bedouin Israeli Arab politician. He served as a Member of the Knesset for the Joint List between 2017 and 2019.

Said al-Harumi or Saeed Alkharumi was an Israeli Arab politician. He served as a member of the Knesset for the Joint List and the United Arab List in two spells between 2017 and 2021.

Mansour Abbas is an Israeli Arab politician. He is currently the leader of the United Arab List and represents the party in the Knesset. He was appointed as the chair of Special Committee on Arab Society Affairs in the Knesset on 27 April 2021. In 2021, Abbas made history by becoming the first Israeli Arab political leader to join an Israeli governing coalition.

Mazen Ghnaim is an Israeli Arab politician who previously served as chairman of Bnei Sakhnin football club. He was mayor of Sakhnin from 2008 to 2018 and a member of the Knesset for the United Arab List from 2021 to 2022.
